Jackpot Royale From White Hat Studios Voted 2024 Gaming Product Of The Year
White Hat Studios has won the 2024 American Gambling Awards Golden Eagle trophy in the Gaming Product of the Year category for its popular Jackpot Royale.
The Gambling.com Group, producer of the American Gambling Awards, will host the winners, judges and other invited guests at an exclusive VIP dinner at Torrisi, an acclaimed Michelin Star (2023) restaurant in New York City on Nov. 21.
‘A Resounding Success’
White Hat Studios is a leading slot content and jackpot provider in North America. Earlier this year, the company celebrated its second anniversary of going live in the U.S.
As White Hat Studios notes on its website, Jackpot Royale is the North America version of the successful multi-game Jackpot King system, featuring three progressive jackpots with an expanding number of slots and full-house and scratch-cards games.
Jackpot Royale drives participation by offering players an opportunity to win one of three jackpots – Maxi (average $5,000), Major (average $25,000), and Jackpot Royale (average $175,000) – at random. In its first year, it was integrated into 30 games and paid $15.4 million in prizes to 950 U.S. players, according to a statement from White Hat Studios.
“Jackpot Royale has been a resounding success, both with players and operators,” the company said. “White Hat's main objective is to create memorable gaming experiences, and with 950 players paid more than $15 million in jackpot prizes, the feature has certainly delivered.”
Supercharging The Player Experience
Andy Whitworth, White Hat Studios’ chief executive officer, said winning the Gaming Product of the Year award “is a testament to our commitment to creating memorable gaming experiences.”
“Jackpot Royale has truly transformed the player experience and delivered impressive results by combining thrilling jackpot opportunities with a self-sustaining model,” he said. “We are excited to continue integrating this innovative feature into new games, revitalizing existing titles and driving further engagement for our operator partners.”
Charles Gillespie, Gambling.com Group co-founder and chief executive officer, congratulated White Hat Studios for their “outstanding work" on Jackpot Royale.
“Jackpot Royale has supercharged the player experience, combining the thrill of jackpot opportunities with a self-sustaining model that has driven remarkable engagement and growth,” Gillespie said. “The judging panel was particularly impressed by the game's innovative mechanics, including its three-tier jackpot system and cost-effective design, which not only enhances excitement for players but also delivers tangible value for operators.”
