Barnes made five 3s on seven attempts, and while we don't expect him to shoot at that high of a rate on a nightly basis, he should be able to make at least two, especially if he's going to get as many as seven 3-pointers up. 

Barnes has also averaged more than 1.5 3s made per game in each of the last three seasons and has done so in five of the last seven. We're also going to buy into the hot hand and back Barnes based on what he showcased early on against the Jazz.

We like Steph Curry Over 29.5 Points (-110) at BetMGM. Curry had a memorable performance against the Kings in the postseason last year, averaging 33.7 points in the seven-game series where he scored at least 30 points in five of the seven games. 

Given his recent history against the Kings and the shot output he displayed against the Suns, we like Curry to have a big night and reach the 30-point mark. He's due for some positive shooting regression after the poor performance against the Suns. Look for Curry to return to his streaky ways.

It was a memorable Celtics debut for Kristaps Porzingis. Playing against the team that drafted him, Porzingis had 30 points on 8 of 15 shooting and made 5 of 9 from 3-point range to give the Celtics another unique scoring option. It's early, but we liked what we saw and are ready to keep backing Porzingis in the point prop market. 

We like Kristaps Porzingis Over 20.5 Points (-114) at FanDuel. The Celtics appeared comfortable to run multiple sets through Porzingis. His 15 shots were second only to Jayson Tatum, and his ability to space the floor should always be there consistently, making him a viable scoring option. 

Backing this prop, we also benefit from teams still trying to figure out how to defend the new-look Celtics with Porzingis. Until defenses figure it out, Porzingis should be able to take advantage before the adjustments settle in. For now, we're going to back Porzingis and his high-scoring potential.

With Kristaps Porzingis and Jrue Holiday joining the Celtics, some of the returning Celtics were due to see their shot output go down. In the first matchup against the Knicks, that was Jaylen Brown. 

We're going with Jaylen Brown Under 19.5 Points (-110) at BetMGM. He had just 11 points on 4 of 11 shooting and missed all four of his 3-point attempts. Brown appeared to lack any semblance of rhythm or flow in the new offense and it seemed as if he was still trying to adjust to the new makeup of the roster. 

The 11 shot attempts were a sharp decrease from the last three seasons when Brown averaged 20, 18 and 19 shot attempts per game over those three years. It seems unlikely Brown will have those types of shot attempts on a nightly basis with Porzingis and Holiday now on the roster, so we feel there's currently value on Brown unders in the point prop market.
