Last Monday, the Bucks beat the Wizards 142-129, and Giannis Antetokounmpo led Milwaukee with 42 points on 20-for-23 shooting from the field. The Wizards’ interior defense is one of the worst in the league, so the Greek Freak is among our NBA predictions today. 

Antetokounmpo struggled in Milwaukee’s 119-116 defeat at the Boston Celtics this past Wednesday. He had 21 points on 7-for-20 shooting from the field. Giannis will be fired up to bounce back, and he’s surpassed a 30-point mark in five of his previous seven appearances. The Wizards are yielding 119.9 points per 100 possessions (27^th in the NBA) on 58.6% shooting from inside the arc (30^th).

The slumping Pistons head to Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis carrying a 12-game losing streak. Detroit will try to snap its ugly skid, and the Pistons will need a strong performance from Cade Cunningham, who’s their leading scorer in 2023-24 with 21.4 points per game. 

The Pistons will look to take full advantage of Indiana’s shaky defense. The Pacers, who own the highest offensive rating in the NBA (122.7), have the second-worst defensive rating in the league (120.9). Indiana plays at the fastest pace in the league, so we are targeting Cunningham for our next NBA player prop today. 

Cunningham takes 19.6 field-goal attempts and 6.0 shots from deep per game. He needs to step up in this matchup, as the Pacers lack quality stoppers in their backcourt besides Bruce Brown. Thompson has scored 43 points over his last two games while going 11-for-21 from beyond the 3-point line, and we are looking for another solid outing when the Golden State Warriors host the lowly San Antonio Spurs on Friday night. 

San Antonio has dropped ten straight contests. The Spurs surrender 119.6 points per 100 possessions (26^th in the NBA) on 39.2% shooting from beyond the arc (29^th). The Warriors have struggled a lot as of late, winning just one of their previous eight games overall.
