Miami Heat vs. Charlotte Hornets Prediction, Odds & NBA Picks

NBA Pick #1: ⭐ Miami Heat -3.5 (-110) at BetMGM

The Heat (6-4; 4-6 ATS) head to Spectrum Center in Charlotte, NC, searching for their sixth consecutive victory. Miami closes down a four-game road trip after beating Memphis 108-102, Atlanta 117-109, and San Antonio 118-113 along the way. On the other side, the Hornets (3-6; 4-5 ATS) have dropped three of their last four contests and are struggling with injuries, so we start the NBA predictions with the Miami Heat -3.5 (-110) at BetMGM Sportsbook

The Hornets are coming off Sunday’s 129-107 loss at the New York Knicks. Terry Rozier missed his fourth straight game due to a groin strain, while Brandon Miller exited in the second quarter with an ankle injury. Rozier and Miller are both questionable to play tonight, and Cody Martin (knee) and Miles Bridges (suspension) are both out. The Heat, on the other side, are without Tyler Herro (ankle) and Caleb Martin (knee).

Charlotte is winless in three straight outings at home. Each of those three losses has come by double digits which is another reason to add the Heat to your NBA picks. Furthermore, the Hornets own the second-worst defensive rating in the NBA (120.8 points allowed per 100 possessions) and are bottom of the league in 3-point rate (.314).

Miami ranks 21st in the league in offensive efficiency (110.3 points per 100 possessions) and 10th in defensive efficiency (111.1). The red-hot Heat have won five in a row by an average margin of 5.4 points while making 48.8% of their field goals and 88.9% of their free throws. Hereof, Miami -3.5 looks like the best Heat vs. Hornets pick.

Indiana Pacers vs. Philadelphia 76ers Prediction & NBA Picks

NBA Pick #2: ⭐ Joel Embiid Over 44.5 Points and Rebounds (-110) at bet365

The 76ers (8-1; 8-1 ATS) beat the Pacers (6-4; 6-4 ATS) 137-126 as 7.5-point home favorites this past Sunday. It was a proper firecracker with both teams shooting above 50 percent from the field and combining for 30 triples.

I had Joel Embiid Over 44.5 Points and Rebounds among my NBA predictions last Sunday. The reigning MVP delivered in style, notching 37 points and 13 rebounds in 33 minutes on the floor. Tyrese Maxey exploded for a career-high 50 points, and the Sixers outrebounded the Pacers 54-32 while posting a whopping 23 offensive boards.

Going with Embiid once more seems a logical Pacers vs. 76ers pick. Phila bullied Indiana last time out and scored 70 points in the paint. Myles Turner couldn’t cope with Embiid, and the Pacers’ frontcourt is pretty thin behind Turner.

Indiana is playing at a fast pace (103.1 possessions per 48 minutes, 2nd in the league) which often helps the NBA player props bettors. The Sixers won’t mind joining the party as long as they are scoring easy baskets in the paint, so Joel Embiid Over 44.5 Points and Rebounds is our next NBA pick for today.

San Antonio Spurs vs. Oklahoma City Thunder Pick & Odds

NBA Pick #3: ⭐ Oklahoma City Thunder -9.0 (-110) at Caesars

The slumping Spurs (3-7; 4-6 ATS) head to Paycom Center in Oklahoma City riding a five-game losing streak. During that awful stretch, the Spurs’ defense has struggled a lot, allowing a staggering 127.2 points and 16.0 triples a night on 43.0% shooting from beyond the 3-point line.

San Antonio is a team to watch because of rookie Victor Wembanyama (19.7 PPG, 8.8 RPG), but we are taking the Oklahoma City Thunder -9.0 (-110) at Caesars for our next NBA pick on Tuesday’s card. The Thunder (6-4; 7-3 ATS) have gone 3-1 SU and ATS over the last four outings. They’ve scored at least 126 points in each of their previous three showings on the home court.

OKC is coming off Sunday’s 111-99 road win against the Phoenix Suns. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 35 points on 13-for-22 shooting from the field, and OKC’s superstar is tallying 35.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 5.5 assists a night through his last four appearances. If you like betting on NBA player props, keep your eyes on Gilgeous-Alexander in 2023-24.

The Thunder have emerged victorious in each of their last three games against the Spurs. OKC is 7-1-1 over its previous nine dates with San Antonio and 4-1 ATS in its past five home contests. The Spurs, on the flip side, are 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall and 3-6 ATS in their last nine showings on the road as underdogs of nine or more points. If you prefer NBA picks with strong betting trends, OKC is your team tonight.

Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Golden State Warriors Odds & NBA Predictions

NBA Pick #4: ⭐ Golden State Warriors -1.5 (-110) at FanDuel

The T-Wolves (7-2; 6-3) outlasted the Warriors (6-5; 5-6 ATS) 116-110 last Sunday. Minnesota handed Golden State its third straight loss and upset the odds as a 3.5-point road underdog. The Warriors opened as 4-point home favorites this time around, but that quickly moved to Golden State -1.5.

Minnesota boasts the best defensive rating in the NBA, yielding just 101.9 points per 100 possessions. The Timberwolves lead the league in opposing 3-point percentage (31.3%) and will try to stay on the right track when they visit the Warriors for the second time in three days.

Golden State has a lot to prove in this game. The Warriors need to show they can play small ball against the Timberwolves, who have a couple of big men in their starting lineup. Last Sunday, Karl-Anthony Towns tortured the Warriors for 21 points and 14 rebounds, and Rudy Gobert posted a double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds to go with five blocks.

The Warriors went just 12-for-43 from downtown. Steph Curry led the way with 38 points but didn’t get too much help from his teammates. Golden State is a better team than its recent form suggests, so we are finalizing our NBA predictions for Tuesday night with the Warriors -1.5 (-110) at FanDuel
