Two months back, many thought the Broncos' season was finished following their 1-5 start, which included a massive 70-20 loss to the Dolphins. 

However, Denver has remarkably turned things around, securing victories in six out of their last seven games, placing them among the six AFC teams with a 7-6 record.

Despite the potential for fatigue as they embark on their third consecutive away game, the Broncos seem a wise choice to back with the points.

The Lions, widely anticipated to have a standout season, are indeed on track for their best performance in almost ten years. 

Yet, they've hit a rough patch post their Week 9 bye, managing a 3-2 record in their recent five games, but consistently allowing 26 points in those games.

Considering the Broncos' success in beating the spread in five of their last seven games, and Detroit's recent challenges in covering and securing outright wins, it seems a solid bet to support Denver in not only covering the spread but also possibly securing an outright victory.

The Chiefs continued to struggle offensively in Week 14, losing 20-17 to the Bills. 

This performance marks a low point for the offense under Patrick Mahomes in Kansas City and few would be optimistic about an immediate improvement given their current lineup.

Despite being 3-10 against the spread (ATS), the Patriots have improved defensively in recent weeks, conceding 18 or fewer points in each of their last four games and showing overall solid defense this season.

A key phase in this game might be the second quarter. The Chiefs are third in the league in second-quarter scoring (10.9 points), while the Patriots have allowed an average of 7.6 points in that quarter, ranking 11th worst in the NFL.

Mahomes and his team will eventually prevail, but a 10-point spread seems excessive given the Chiefs' current offensive challenges and the Patriots' stronger-than-expected defense.

Dallas leads the league with a 9-4 record against the spread and has successfully covered in six of their last eight games.

While the Buffalo Bills did manage an upset over the Chiefs last Sunday, their recent performance against the spread has been less impressive, standing at 3-6-1 over the last two months. 

Additionally, their record at Highmark Stadium has been weak since Oct. 8, with only 1-3 against the spread.

Despite the Cowboys' impressive run, there's always a possibility for a slowdown or a less stellar performance.

This weekend's game in Buffalo could be challenging, especially if bad weather plays a role. However, I expect Dallas to continue their strong performance as road underdogs.
