Detroit Lions, on a seven-game winning streak against NFC North rivals, seem poised for an eighth against a struggling Green Bay Packers team. 

However, the better bet is on the Over. The Packers, despite their defensive lapses, managed to keep the Chargers to 20 points, with their offense avoiding turnovers for the first time since Week 2. 

Green Bay's Jordan Love is expected to pass more due to backfield injuries, as starting running back Aaron Jones and backup Emanuel Wilson are sidelined, leaving AJ Dillon as the primary back.

Lions quarterback Jared Goff showed remarkable form last week, especially in the fourth quarter. Despite the Lions' effective running game, their aerial approach seems more promising. 

Detroit is also expected to recover from a dip in big plays, having led the league with 49 plays of over 20 yards. Additionally, the Over has hit in 7 of Detroit's last 11 Thanksgiving games making the Packers the first of my NFL Picks for this Thanksgiving.

In their previous matchup, Montgomery had an impressive performance with 32 carries for 121 yards and three touchdowns. 

While it's unlikely he'll have such a heavy workload this time, given Gibbs' increased involvement recently, Montgomery is still a strong candidate to score, making this the second of my NFL Picks for Thanksgiving.

Remarkably, he has found the end zone in consecutive games following his injury, despite a limited 12 carries in each game. 

While Gibbs is a valued asset for Detroit, Montgomery's skill in between-the-tackles play remains crucial, particularly in scoring situations near the end zone.

🏈 Green Bay Packers +7.5 (-110) at Draftkings

The Green Bay Packers are at a crucial juncture, with a slim chance to reach the postseason in the NFC. 

Their path forward hinges on a winning streak, especially improving their road record, where they have only one victory in five attempts, with the sole win coming against the Chicago Bears in Week 1.

Green Bay is eager to rectify their Week 4 loss to the Detroit Lions, where they conceded a season-high 34 points. 

The team's average this season stands at both scoring and allowing 20.2 points per game. Their recent win was highlighted by Kenny Clark's pivotal deflection.

Up next for the Packers is a home game against the Chiefs, followed by an away game against the New York Giants. 

This season has been particularly intriguing for the Packers, featuring a first-year quarterback who shows signs of steady improvement.
