Super Bowl Betting Tips From Pro Bookmaker On 'The Edge'
On “The Edge” this week, veteran oddsmaker Casey Lewless reveals his pick for which team he’s betting on to win this year’s Super Bowl.
In Super Bowl LVIII this Sunday, the NFC’s San Francisco 49ers face the AFC’s Kansas City Chiefs, the defending Super Bowl champion.
When Lewless was working at the Circus Circus sportsbook in Las Vegas, he got betting advice from legendary sports bettor Lem Banker about generally taking the underdog. "I'm always on the dog," Lewless said on "The Edge." In this case, however, Lewless is taking the slight Super Bowl favorite 49ers. Beginning at about the 7:58 mark on "The Edge," Lewless explains why he's taking San Francisco.
Also on “The Edge,” Lewless offers Super Bowl prop bets to consider and gives an insider's take on things to do in Las Vegas during Super Bowl weekend — where to eat, what to look out for regarding game-day packages at local venues and much more.
Lewless is a longtime Las Vegas bookmaker now managing two Penn Entertainment sportsbooks at casinos in Northwest Louisiana — Margaritaville and Boomtown. The Margaritaville sportsbook recently was expanded into a two-story site.
