There are Multiple NFL Draft Prop Bet Options
As more states have legalized sports betting, there have been new ways for bettors to wager on their favorite sports.
One way NFL betting sites sportsbooks have expanded their betting options has been with the NFL draft.
There are now numerous ways to bet on the NFL draft, and here is an overview and examples that you can look to take advantage of the numerous options.
NFL Draft Pick Position
One of the easiest NFL Draft prop bets to understand and make is betting on which player is taken at a single draft spot.
At nearly every sportsbook, bettors can already wager on who they think will be taken anywhere in the top five. PointsBet Sportsbook currently has Alabama QB Bryce Young favored to go No. 1 at -250, while Ohio State QB C.J. Stroud is the second favorite for the top spot at +150.
DraftKings also has props available on whether a pick will be selected before a certain spot. Georgia DT Jalen Carter’s prop is listed with the total at 6.5, meaning if you take the under, you are betting he will be taken at No. 6 or better.
NFL Draft Pick by Position
Bettors can also wager on who they think will be the first player taken at each position. FanDuel Sportsbook currently offers position bets on the NFL draft with wide receivers, tight ends, offensive linemen, defensive players, cornerbacks and linebackers.
FanDuel also offers Over-Under bets on the number of players from a position that is drafted in the first round.
Currently, the total is set at 4.5 for the number of quarterbacks taken in the opening round. If you bet the over and five or more quarterbacks are selected, your bet would grade out as a winner. FanDuel also has NFL draft first-round totals with running backs, tight ends, wide receivers, defensive backs and offensive linemen.
Team Draft Betting Props
Bettors can also wager on what position a team will take with its first-round NFL draft pick. FanDuel has a wide receiver listed as the favored position for the Buffalo Bills at +200, followed by offensive lineman (+250).
There are also markets on what team will select a player. The Indianapolis Colts are favored to select Florida QB Anthony Richardson at +150, with the Tennessee Titans the second favorites at +200.

NFL Draft Matchups
DraftKings also has matchups for bettors to wager on, allowing people to bet on who will be drafted first between two players.
One of the matchups is between Ohio State wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Nijgba (-525) and USC wideout Jordan Addison (+390).
College Props
Some sportsbooks also list college conference props as a betting option. DraftKings Sportsbook has a total set at 3.5 for the number of players selected from the ACC in the first round and also has first-round total props with the Big Ten (8.5), Big 12 (4.5) and SEC (11.5).
These are some of the NFL draft betting options currently available. Expect more to be released up to the first night of the draft on April 27.
