The surprise announcement Monday that conservative commentator Tucker Carlson is parting ways with Fox News has led to speculation about who will replace him in the top-rated prime-time slot.

The Top Candidates

Carlson’s departure comes in the wake of a $787.5 million settlement agreement between Fox News and Dominion Voting Systems. Internal communication from Carlson acknowledged that claims of voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election were without merit, according to published accounts. The network has not indicated why Carlson is stepping down.

The Carlson announcement came on the same day that CNN fired morning on-air host Don Lemon. It was unclear Monday why Lemon was fired, but his controversial comments about women have created a backlash against the network.

With Carlson leaving Fox News, Gambling.com calculated the odds on who might replace him. Below are the results.
