FanDuel Group has announced a multi-year partnership with the New York Yankees to continue work as the team’s official sports betting partner.

It extends what was already one of the most popular deals between a sports betting operator and a franchise on such a massive scale.

The deal now means one of America's favorite sportsbooks remains aligned with one of the world's most iconic sports franchises and will see FanDuel’s name across the Yankee Stadium.

What Does This Deal Mean?

FanDuel has rapidly become America’s No. 1 sportsbook over the past few years, and since the legalization of sports betting in New York in January, it has also become one of the most recognizable brands in the state.

In fact, FanDuel has witnessed more growth than any other name operating in New York in the past few months, seeing higher numbers across the board than other sportsbooks, like BetMGM and DraftKings.

Under the terms of this agreement with the Yankees, FanDuel will now be permitted to continue their use of the Yankees’ logos.

At the same time, FanDuel will have premium VIP hospitality accommodations at the Yankee Stadium, allowing access to FanDuel VIP members, which sees fans get better access to the club than ever on game days - please be advised that these rewards are invite only.

FanDuel will also see its signage in the right-field and rotational signage behind the home plate during television broadcasts, which further enhances FanDuel’s access to the wider Yankees audience.

"There is no more globally recognized sports brand than the New York Yankees, and as a New York-based company we’re delighted to remain partners with our hometown team," Mike Raffensperger, CMO of FanDuel Group, said in a news release.

“One of our company values is to be absurdly fan-focused and there is no fanbase more passionate about their team than Yankees fans which makes this a natural fit."

“We are very excited to be continuing our relationship with FanDuel — our Partner since 2020,” Michael J. Tusiani, New York Yankees Senior Vice President, Partnerships, said in the release.

“We hope that FanDuel’s Yankee Stadium presence and customer engagement will continue to strengthen its brand as a sports betting operator within the tri-state area.”
