Who Will Win America's Got Talent? Murmuration Mesmerizes Their Way To Live Shows

"America's Got Talent" act Murmuration mesmerized their way into the live shows after wowing Howie Mandel enough for the judge to press his Golden Buzzer.

The French dance group are now among the favorites to win season 18 after impressing judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara, and particularly Mandel.

For their astonishing act, the 65-people group blindfolded themselves and performed a series of hand movements in perfect sync.

Elsewhere on episode 4, vocal group Freedom Singers and acrobatic group Warrior Squad are also in contention to win this year's "AGT" after wowing the audience, as did singer and Rubik's Cube solver Ninah Sampaio.

As with previous years, the "America's Got Talent" wannabes need at least three yes votes from the four judges to advance, but they are out of the contest if they received two or more red buzzers from the panelists.

But if one of the judges, or host Crews, hits their Golden Buzzer, then the successful contestant is sent straight into the live shows.

Mzansi Youth Choir received the first-ever Audience Golden Buzzer in the Season 18 premiere episode, in episode 2 Cowell put pianist and singer Putri Ariani into the live shows, and in episode 3 host Terry Crews chose Chioma and The Atlanta Drum Academy as his Golden Buzzer act.

With these hypothetical odds provided by industry sports betting experts, we've looked into which remaining America's Got Talent contestants could have what it takes to be the show's Season 18 winner and land the $1 million prize.

'Spectacular' Murmuration Progress To Live Shows

Murmuration is now +250 joint favorite, alongside Ariani, to win "America's Got Talent" after Mandel put them into the live shows.

For their audition, the French dance group sat in three rows and were blindfolded, all apart from leader Jibril Maillot, who stood in front of the group and performed.

Klum praised their hand movement act for being "so amazingly in sync," and Vergara said their synchronization was "spectacular," with the judge admitting they reminded her of her 2022 Golden Buzzer, Lebanese dance group Mayyas, who went on to win AGT's 17th season last year.

Mandel was also "mesmerized" and then impersonated the group's hand movements as he edged towards the Golden Buzzer before pressing it, sending the 65-strong group into raptures as the golden confetti rained down on them.

Murmuration is now equal in the betting with Ariana, and just ahead of episode 3 stars Chioma and The Atlanta Drum Academy, who are +300 to win this year's series.

Mzansi Youth Choir are third moneyline favorites for victory at +350, ahead of young ventriloquist Brynn Cummings (+400), who brought back memories of Season 12 winner Darci Lynne in episode 3.

She is the same +400 price as dancer Alexandr Leshchenko, who reminded viewers of former AGT dance crew act Light Balance, who he is "great friends" with.

Magic 8 For Freedom Singers

Vocal group Freedom Singers, who are made up of 8 members, impressed Cowell with a "really special audition" in episode 4, when they performed a rendition of "Under the Bridge."

They are now +450 to win "America's Got Talent," the same price as episode 2 head balancing duo Ramadhani Brothers, and Ahren Belisle, an engineer in Canada who was born with cerebral palsy and uses a text-to-speech app on his phone to deliver his stand-up comedy performances.

Elsewhere in episode 4, Cowell was "blown away" by acrobatic group Warrior Squad.

The act, from India, wowed with their flicks and tricks, which were enough to receive four yeses from the judges.

They are now +500 to triumph, equal in price with aspiring Broadway singer D'Corey Johnson, who impressed in episode 1.

Another youngster who received plenty of superlatives from the panelists is seven-year-old Eseniia Mikheeva.

The Russian dancer is +550 to win "America's Got Talent" after Vergara praised her for already being a "mini star," and Cowell admitted the youngster is "in it to win it."

Fellow episode 4 star Dani Kerr is also in with a chance after the singer reminded the panel of music legends Stevie Nicks and Dolly Parton.

She is also +550 to win the season, just ahead of fellow singer Roland Abante, a fisherman and a delivery driver by trade.

He is out to +600, from +500 last week, while Sainted Trap Choir, hula hooper Grace Good, and sword sallower Herwan Legaillard are also at +600.

El Invertebrado Creeps Into the Next Round

One of the more unique acts of episode 4 came in the shape of contortionist and pole dancer El Invertebrado, who performed their act while dressed as a zombie.

Cowell captured the thoughts of most of the nation by describing the wannabe as "creepy", but insisted it was "in a good way", and the "AGT" contestant is in contention for victory at +650.

Invertebrado is ahead of fellow episode 4 auditionee Anna DeGuzman in the futures betting.

The magician is +700 to win season 18, the same price as fellow magician Trigg Watson, who has drifted from +650.

Another episode 4 star with tricks up her sleeve was Ninah Sampaio, who is +750 after performing Pink song "Try" while solving a Rubik's Cube.

The TikTok sensation, from Brazil, received four yeses and was described by Cowell as "so talented and so likable" following her impressive performance.

She is now the same price as heavy metal outfit Steel Panther, who have drifted from +700, as well as two fellow +750 chances, dancer Lambros Garcia, and country singer Mitch Rossell.

'Fearless' Langan Goes Through

Comedian Maureen Langan was laughing into the next round as she received four yeses for her stand-up routine.

Cowell described her as "fearless," and she is now +800 to win this year's "AGT," the same price as fellow comedian Orlando Leyba, and YouTube singing sensation Alfie Andrew.

Violinist Philip Bowen and guitarist John Wines are +850, ahead of TikTok sensation Zoe Eriann (+900), Japanese dance group Avantgardey (+1000), shadow artist Shadow Ace (+1100), and magician Mandy Muden (+1200).

Danger act Thomas Vu - who appeared on this year's Britain's Got Talent season - is the lowest placed in the betting of the episode 4 stars at +1400, after he only received three yeses from the judges.

Like Sampaio, he solved a Rubik's Cube, but he did so after he was set on fire.

Despite admitting the audition was a scary one, Cowell, Mandel and Klum are keen to see what Vu can come up with next.

He is now the same price as Ukrainian acrobatic trio Three G and dinosaur costume-wearing acrobat Trex Flips, while hand percussionist Riccardo Pace is +1500, and danger act Ray Wold remains at the bottom of the market at +1600.

The "AGT" auditions will continue next week, as a host of other acts try out for the judges in the hope of progressing to the next round.
