WynnBET Sportsbook Will Soon Go Live in New York

WynnBET is prepared to go live in New York.

According to EmpireStakes.com, a company spokesman confirmed the New York State Gaming Commission (NYSGC) has given WynnBET New York a license to operate its sportsbook in the state. The launch date is still to be determined since no specific date or time has been given for WynnBET to start taking wagers.

Big Betting Events Coming Up

With Super Bowl LVI taking place on Feb. 13, the sooner the launch the better for WynnBET. The Super Bowl is annually the most wagered-on event in the United States and will serve as a great opportunity to build its user base. Currently, the Los Angeles Rams are 4.5-point favorites over the Cincinnati Bengals.

WynnBET has yet to release its promos for going live in New York, but the sportsbook’s current offers in Louisiana may give us an idea of what’s to come. Players who register early with WynnBET in Louisiana receive $250 in bonus bets irrespective of their first $10 bet result.

New York Posting Impressive Sports Betting Numbers

Other Sportsbooks Set to Go Live

On Jan. 25, PointsBet Sportsbook New York became the sixth and latest operator to launch in the state. The Australian-based company took its first bet in New York at 10:09 p.m. EST after going live.

"Launching in New York is a significant milestone for PointsBet, being one of nine approved online sports betting operators in the state,” Johnny Aitken, PointsBet USA CEO, said in a media release. “New York’s passionate sports fans and bettors will now have access to the fastest online sports betting product in market, with a live, in-game betting experience that PointsBet controls through our proprietary technology and world-class team.”

In addition to WynnBET, Bally Bet and Resorts World are the last three sportsbooks awaiting clearance from the NYSGC to start taking bets.
