Who Will Take Part In Celebs Go Dating 2024? GMB's Susanna Reid Hot Favourite
Celebs Go Dating is heading back to E4 for a 13th series later this year, and there are some huge household names in contention to take part, according to UK betting sites.
If recent series are anything to go by, there is sure to be a sprinkling of Love Island stars in the line-up, as well as some other reality TV veterans.
But could 2024 be the year of a certain Good Morning Britain presenter, and potentially see the return of another legendary host?
Susanna Goes Dating?
Show dating agent Paul Carrick Brunson recently revealed E4 bosses are casting for the upcoming series at the moment, and he has fuelled speculation that GMB front-woman Susanna could be part of the lineup.
Susanna - who previously dated Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish - is 6/4 favourite on specials betting sites to look for love on the E4 series.
Paul told OK! magazine: "I would love for us to have people on who ordinarily don’t show their private life.
"Someone like Susanna Reid! She is someone who everyone holds in high esteem and everyone likes her, but no one really knows much about her private life. It’d be an honour to have Susanna on the show."
Other stars who have been linked to the series include former Love Island pair Hannah Elizabeth (2/1), and Finn Tapp (3/1).
Hannah appeared on Love Island: All Stars earlier this year, but sadly didn't find The One, while Finn and Paige Turley, who he won Love Island alongside in 2020, went their separate ways last year.
From The Cobbles To The Celebrity Dating Agency?
In the show, dating agents Paul, Anna Williamson and Dr Tara Suwinyattichaiporn help the single celebs find love, by setting them up with other singletons they think could be compatible.
Helen Flanagan, who previously split from her footballer fiancé Scott Sinclair, is a 6/1 chance to swap the Coronation Street cobbles for the Celebrity Dating Agency, and she has previously been linked to the programme.
Another star who has fuelled speculation she could take part in this year's Celebs Go Dating is Love Island: All Stars' Jess Gale.
Jess (5/1) recently split from fellow Islander Callum Jones, and hasn't ruled out joining the E4 series.
She recently told The Sun: "Celebs Go Dating ... if I happen to be single at the time, it’s a possibility."
Another ex-Islander, Arabella Chi, who also took part in Love Island: All Stars this year, is a 7/1 chance on betting apps, after she is said to have split from Premier League footballer Vinicius Souza recently.
Vanessa's Return On The Cards?
Vanessa Feltz took part in the show last year, after splitting from her partner of 16 years, Ben Ofoedu.
During her time in the show, the TV legend faced a backlash from some over claims she was "sulky" during dates, but she wrote in her Daily Express column: "The audience sees what it sees and takes this light-hearted puffery with intense seriousness.
"Naturally, the broadcast is cut and edited to elicit maximum ratings – though if I’d been angelic throughout they’d have nothing negative to show, of course."
Dating agent Anna later said production were "really sorry" if Vanessa felt the edit was "unfavourable at times", but is there a chance she could make a Celebs Go Dating return this year to put things right?
Vanessa is 8/1 on new betting sites to appear on the show again in 2024, and it is a return that would be welcomed by dating agent Paul, despite their on-screen clashes last year.
He told OK!: "I would love to have Vanessa back. Most people think I wouldn’t because you saw us going at it last series, but I actually enjoyed that.
"I love that Vanessa gives you intellectual debate, that’s what you want as a professional. You want someone who will push back. It makes you sharper."
Other stars who could be in contention include Emmerdale actress Charley Webb (10/1), former Love Island star Davide Sanclimenti (9/1), and Married At First Sight's Georges Berthonneau (4/1).
