Cheltenham Day 2 Tips: David Mullins' Horses To Follow
An absolutely brilliant first day of racing at Cheltenham. Honeysuckle was fantastic again, what an amazing mare she is. Constitution Hill looks something very special as well as he blew them away in the Supreme!
Day Two is another cracker and lets hope the racing is as intriguing as that!
Sir Gerhard - 1:30 Ballymore Novices' Hurdle
I just can't see past Sir Gerhard in this who is as short as 4/6 with the best betting sites. He looks like he will be very hard to stop as in truth it is a bit of a disappointing affair.
I am delighted Willie Mullins made the right call on sending him for this race and he should have far too much for these. Day Two of Cheltenham should kick off with another Willie Mullins winner after Stattler on Tuesday!

Capodanno - 2:10 Brown Advisory Novices' Chase
Bravemansgame will be the UK's idea of a banker, but I don't see it that way. I think he is a very good horse, who jumps beautifully, but I'd have concerns for him around Cheltenham.
I'm not sure about him at the track and the hill has to be a big concern. At Haydock he was hitting the line only as well as he should have been and I'd have concerns for him at the finish.
I'd suggest Capodanno each-way in this as he's a big tough horse who will be staying on more than most. He can cause a mini shock in this.
Drop The Anchor - 2:50 Coral Cup
As always this is one of the toughest races of the week, but Drop The Anchor is a great each-way price.
Ritchie Condon won this race last year aboard Heaven Help Us, and he works for Pat Fahy, who trains this horse. He really fancies Drop The Anchor in this and he's usually not far wrong. I'm happy to follow his advice as this horse has won big field races like this and conditions look perfectly fine for him.
Energumene - 3:30 Champion Chase
Shishkin looks a good thing and he should be exactly that, but I've a feeling Energumene is a better horse than he showed last time at Ascot when losing to the aforementioned Shishkin.
I think he's the best horse at Willie Mullins' and there should be more improvement to come. He jumped well at Ascot, but never seemed to make ground on Shishkin which was odd. If he can improve this, he may get the better of the argument today.
Tiger Roll - 4:10 Cross Country Chase
The word on the street is that Tiger Roll is back flying in his work and if that is indeed the case, he should win this which makes the 15/8 with horse racing betting sites appealing. If he can replicate his performance from last season I just don't see what can stop him.
Tiger Roll is a really brilliant horse, who has achieved so much and the rest of this field have it all to do to stop him. Not too much rain falling will definitely be a help to him.
It would be great if he could get the send off he deserves.
Amarillo Sky - 4:50 Grand Annual
I can see this race going to the UK!
I saw this horse win his point to point and I was very impressed with him at the time. He was disappointing on his first few starts for the Tizzard's, but really seems to have got his act together now. I just think he might have a few more pounds yet up his sleeve!
Viva Devito - 5:30 Champion Bumper
I'm just not sure you can back Facile Vega at such short odds for a Champion Bumper. Maybe you could if he drifts a bit more, but he's not for me at the odds despite the fact that he looks a brilliant prospect.
Viva Devito is a horse I've liked for a long time and Derek O'Connor is a brilliant booking for him. He can creep him into the race and that should suit him lovely.
