Euro 2024 Predictions: The Panel's Best Bets & Tips For Switzerland Vs Germany

Germany have already advanced to the knockout stages at Euro 2024 and could be joined by Switzerland on Sunday.

The tournament hosts secured their progression by defeating Hungary on Wednesday, while the Swiss drew with Scotland.

No team with four points has ever failed to progress as one of the best third-placed teams and facing a potentially rotated German squad could boost Switzerland's chances of securing another victory.

Germany are among the favourites with UK betting sites and with his side having already secured their spot in the next round following impressive wins against Scotland and Hungary, Julian Nagelsmann may make changes.

The last meeting between Switzerland and Germany ended in a 3-3 draw during the 2020 UEFA Nations League and, historically, Switzerland has an edge, winning two of the last five matches, with the other three ending in draws.

The Panel have been impressed by what they have seen of the hosts so far and though they have already guaranteed qualification, don’t envisage them taking it easy in front of their home fans in Frankfurt.

Switzerland Vs Germany Predictions

Switzerland Vs Germany Tips: Germany To Win A Thriller

Germany take on Switzerland in the final game of Group in Frankfurt, and both teams can start planning for the Round of 16 after solid starts.

Since losing the final at Euro 2016, the Germans have not managed to get beyond the Round of 16, and were eliminated in the group stage at the last two World Cups.

On home soil, Julian Nagelsmann's men are on a road to redemption and victory over the Swiss will raise hopes that Die Mannshaft can lift the Henri Delaunay trophy on July 14.

Germany have scored seven goals from their 16 attempts on goals and the Swiss will be mindful of the threats all over the park.

The last time Germany won all three group games was at Euro 2012, where they were beaten by Italy in the semi-final.

Playing in front of an expecting home nation, The Panel are tipping Germany to finish top of Group A with three wins from three.

The Swiss won't roll over and make it easy for the hosts and they will play their part in what football betting sites expect to be a high-scoring game.

Switzerland Vs Germany Tips: Musiala To Continue Streak

Germany are in the envious position of going into their final group game with Switzerland on Sunday knowing that they have already booked their place in the Round of 16 following wins over Scotland and Hungary.

Meanwhile, Switzerland will be aiming to stay unbeaten after drawing 1-1 with Scotland and beating Hungary 3-1 - so a surprise win here would see them top the group.

Germany’s midfield has been impressive so far, with the experienced Toni Kroos and Ilkay Gundogan combining brilliantly with the youthful exuberance of Florian Wirtz and Jamal Musiala up front.

With such creativity at their disposal, The Panel expect Germany to score more goals here and with the embarrassment of riches at their disposal, picking just who might find the net is proving to be tricky.

Musiala will be high in confidence having already scored two goals in this tournament after the first two group games, and he is one of the favourites on betting apps to land the Golden Boot award.

The Panel are backing the Bayern Munich midfielder to produce the goods again and score anytime against Switzerland.
