Ivan Toney Next Club Odds: Chelsea & Man Utd Face Battle For Brentford Striker
Ivan Toney has expressed his desire to leave Brentford with a move away from west London before the transfer window closes seemingly inevitable according to best betting sites.
This has put the Bees in a position where they may have to accept a deal well below their initial £50 million asking price, or risk losing the England international for free next summer.
Saudi Arabian side Al-Ahli have already seen an initial offer turned down with Chelsea reportedly contemplating a bid as Enzo Maresca aims to bring in a new striker to complement the club's extensive summer signings.
Meanwhile, latest reports suggest that preliminary discussions have also taken place between Manchester United and Brentford regarding a possible deal as a bidding war threatens to break out.
So, assuming the 28-year-old does depart the Gtech Community Stadium before the summer transfer window, we've taken a look at a number of potential destinations according to best betting sites.

Ivan Toney Next Club Odds
With the 28-year-old striker linked with a number of clubs, BetVictor have provided the latest odds on where might he end up after the summer transfer window closes on Friday night.
Club | Odds | Bookmaker |
Any Saudi Club | 1/2 | |

Aston Villa | 20/1 | |
West Ham | 20/1 |
Saudi Move Remains Favourite
Tony has been left out of Thomas Frank’s squad for the first two Premier League games of the season and the club are concerned about the effect of reintegrating him into the group.
Saudi Arabian outfit Al-Ahli have had an initial £35m bid rejected for the England man despite verbally agreeing financial terms on a three-year contract worth around €60m, despite apparently still being keen on remaining in the Premier League.
Such a move would see him join the likes of Edouard Mendy, Riyad Mahrez and Roberto Firmino in Saudi Arabia and he is currently 1/2 to move to the Saudi Pro League in one capacity or another.
Chelsea Provide Premier League Path
Chelsea (2/1) are considering making an offer for Toney as Enzo Maresca looks to add a new striker to the club’s glut of summer signings with a number of faces expected to depart in order for the club to comply with PRS rules.
The Brentford man has emerged as a potential solution for the Blues after they failed to reach a breakthrough in talks with Napoli over Victor Osimhen, who is keen on the move, but Chelsea are not willing to match his wage demands.
Chelsea, who have also been linked with a swap deal involving Raheem Stirling and Jadon Sancho, are expected to test the Bees resolve by making an initial offer significantly below the £50m asking price as Friday's deadline looms large with the hope that the prospect of staying in the Premier League might prove too tempting for Toney.
United Poised To Pounce
Manchester United are nearing the completion of a deal for Manuel Ugarte, who will join Joshua Zirkzee, Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui as new arrivals after a busy summer at Old Trafford.
Additionally, it's now reported that United have engaged in exploratory talks regarding a move for Ivan Toney, to bolster their firepower as they look to improve on last season's disappointing eighth-place finish.
United have previously been linked with Toney, and securing a new number 9 was their top priority going into the summer with the red side of Manchester currently priced at 5/1 to be his next destination.
Arsenal Move Would Be Dream Come True
For much of last season the England international was frequently rumored to be a target for Mikel Arteta.
With the Gunners (10/1) continuing to deploy Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus in the 'false nine' role, many had predicted that Arsenal might make a move for Toney.
And rumours only grew when the England man spoke on the Diary Of A CEO podcast with British entrepreneur Steven Bartlett.
"I have been a Liverpool fan my whole life, but I have liked Arsenal," he said. "I enjoy watching Arsenal, their style of play and the passion of their fans."
Arsenal are currently 10/1 to land the services of Toney but whether they'd be willing to pay the £50m to lure him across London seems unlikely.
Bold Villa Bid Unlikely
Aston Villa have already been pretty active in the transfer window as they aim to expand their squad to handle the additional fixtures due to their participation in the newly formatted UEFA Champions League.
Unai Emery's current forward options include Ollie Watkins, who is expected to remain the first choice, and Jhon Duran, who recently scored against West Ham United despite being linked with a move to the Hammers.
Following Saturday's 2-0 loss to Arsenal at Villa Park, Emery discussed the possibility of new signings at Bodymoor Heath, saying: "We are trying to be demanding in how we can improve the squad and enhance certain aspects.
"Maybe we will need time to become stronger, and this week we will analyse if there's something we can add."
But it's unlikely that Villa will be able to match the wages that Toney will be offered elsewhere and, as a result, he is 20/1 with betting apps to be wearing claret and blue after Friday's deadline.
