Liverpool are reportedly no longer in the race to sign Jude Bellingham, a development which has forced betting sites to significantly alter their transfer betting odds.

Bellingham, one of the most exciting young talents in world football, has been the subject of intense transfer speculation in recent months.

The 19-year-old midfielder has been a standout performer for Borussia Dortmund since joining the club from Birmingham City in 2020, and his impressive displays have caught the attention of several top clubs across Europe.

Despite Dortmund's insistence that Bellingham is not for sale, rumours persist about potential suitors for the England international.

Real Madrid, Manchester City, and Manchester United are among the other clubs reportedly interested in Bellingham's services, but as the transfer window draws closer, the odds could shift in favour of other clubs.

Indeed, even Liverpool remain a relatively short price despite publicly pulling out of a move due to Bellingham's transfer market value being too high at £135m.

Stay tuned to this page for the latest news and updates on Bellingham's future, including potential transfer destinations and the latest betting odds.

Dortmund Transfer Plans For Jude Bellingham

Borussia Dortmund have not given up hope of retaining Bellingham for at least another year.

Their business model is built on signing young talents and moving them on for vast profits, a strategy which has generated hundreds of millions of pounds through the sales of players like Erling Haaland, Jadon Sancho and Ousmane Dembele.

But Dortmund do not need to let Bellingham go this summer, and the club have offered him a pay rise to stay put at Signal Iduna Park.

The fact they have been competitive this term - BVB are still in the Bundesliga title race - could help their cause, with Dortmund given a 2/1 chance of keeping their prized asset.

The lure of Manchester City and the chance to work with Pep Guardiola could prove too strong, however.

City could certainly afford to pay a triple-figure sum for Bellingham, who could find it hard to resist the pull of the Premier League champions, who are priced at 5/2 with football betting sites.

Liverpool News Will Have Gone Down Well In Madrid

Real Madrid will have welcomed the news that Liverpool have withdrawn from the race for Bellingham.

Their odds have shortened to 3/1 with BetUK on the back of the news, and the midfielder would surely strongly consider the opportunity to join the biggest club on the planet.

Madrid have been gradually regenerating their midfield in recent years, and Bellingham could follow in the footsteps of Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouameni.

The Birmingham-born man has already demonstrated a willingness to play overseas, although at this stage of his career he might prefer to return to his home country.

Incidentally, odds of 4/1 are still offered on Liverpool by BetVictor, who could change their stance between now and the end of the transfer window.

That seems improbable now, but the club’s owners are looking for fresh investment and the arrival of such money could alter their policy.

Manchester United And Arsenal Among The Outsiders

Manchester United have been linked with several midfielders of late, including the Brighton & Hove Albion duo Alexis Mac Allister and Moises Caicedo

Erik ten Hag will expect to be given money to spend this summer, and Bellingham would no doubt strengthen their midfield.

However, United’s priority is signing a new centre-forward and most of their funds could be diverted to that particular objective. As such, the Red Devils are among the outsiders at 14/1.

Arsenal are an interesting option at 20/1 with Parimatch. They are suddenly a force again under Mikel Arteta and will be back in the Champions League next term.

Bellingham’s combination of physical dynamism and technical ability would make him a good fit for this Arsenal side, but the Gunners are unlikely to have sufficient funds to bring him to north London.

Chelsea And Newcastle Set To Splash Cash Again This Summer

Chelsea have already spent around £600m on new players since Todd Boehly assumed control at Stamford Bridge, but things have not gone to plan so far.

The Blues are currently in the bottom half of the Premier League table and are on the lookout for a next permanent Chelsea manager after the sacking of Graham Potter.

Chelsea will once again splash the cash this summer, but their probable absence from the Champions League will harm their chances of landing Bellingham, hence odds of 20/1.

Newcastle United may well be playing in Europe’s premier tournament in 2023/24, but they are still a few years away from competing for the game’s biggest prizes.

They will thus find it tough to attract Bellingham, who is 25/1 with betting apps to end up at St James’ Park.
