Marcus Rashford Next Club Odds: Dortmund And Barca In Race For Wantaway Star

Manchester United star Marcus Rashford has claimed he is “ready for a new challenge" and betting sites are considering where he could be calling home next. 

The academy graduate was dropped for the Manchester derby in December which prompted Rashford to tell sports journalist Henry Winter that his mind is set on taking the “next steps” in his career. 

Since then, the England international has been left out in the cold by Ruben Amorim, regularly failing to make the matchday squad.

Dortmund Deal On The Cards?

Borussia Dortmund have made a habit of signing young English players in the last few years, and although Rashford is now 27, he would still be a great signing. 

Dortmund could well be the ideal place for the forward to revive his career, after Jadon Sancho did exactly that following a loan spell at the German club last season.

The Bundesliga side have a good mix of youth and experience, and Rashford would be a fine example for the younger players, including fellow Englishman Jamie Bynoe-Gittens.

With that in mind, they are now 7/4 favourites to acquire his signature.

Barca Could Swoop 

Barcelona have been struggling in La Liga this season, sitting behind arch rivals Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid in the table.

Hansi Flick’s side trail Diego Simeone's team by seven points, and though their Champions League campaign is going well, their domestic form has been a concern, meaning it may be time to freshen up their squad before next season.

Barca had been linked with a move for Athletic Bilbao’s Spain winger Nico Williams in the summer, but a deal never transpired.

AC Milan could be a likely destination for Rashford, according to betting apps.

The Rossoneri are enduring a difficult season in Serie A and are currently in eighth place, 19 points behind leaders Napoli.

Rashford would be a good signing for the Italian giants, and they are one of the few European sides that could afford to pay him his massive wages.

Naples Home To Another Former United Star?

Napoli are another team linked with the England man with Antonio Conte keen to replace Khvicha Kvaratskhelia after his move to Paris Saint-Germain.

A move to the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium would see Rashford reunite with Scott McTominay after the Scotland international sealed a £25million move to Italy in the summer.

Gli Azzurri are three points clear at the top of the Serie A table following a 3-2 win over Atalanta on Saturday, with McTominay and ex-United striker Romelu Lukaku finding the net.

The Scot took to Instagram to thank supporters after the game and Rashford was one of 100,000+ users to like the post. It is now 12/1 for Rashford to be the next Red Devil to make the move to Naples.

Juventus In The Running 

Juventus are looking to bolster their squad in January and a move for Rashford could work for both parties. 

However, recent reports claim that the Turin-based club are more interested in his United teammate Joshua Zirkzee.

Despite this, Rashford is still priced at 16/1 to make the move to the "Old Lady."

Elsewhere, Rashford is 16/1 to join Arsenal with north London rivals Spurs at 20/1. PSG and West Ham come next at 25/1, while a move to South America or Portugal is 33/1.
