N'Golo Kante Next Club Odds: Chelsea Lead The Race For Former Midfielder
N’Golo Kante has been a key man for France at Euro 2024 and the UK betting sites have opened a market on whether he might be on the move once the tournament is over.
Kante bid farewell to the European club game last summer, calling time on his Chelsea career after making just seven Premier League appearances in the 2022/23 campaign.
He was snapped up by Al-Ittihad in Saudi Arabia and went on to play 46 times last term, putting his previous injury woes behind him.
After his performances in Germany so far this summer, could Kante be back in Europe permanently next season?
Let’s take a look at the contenders to sign him according to betting apps.

Could Kante Embark On Sensational Chelsea Return?
The idea of Kante returning to Chelsea after 12 months away may be hard to imagine at first.
But the Blues are the 7/4 favourites to re-sign a player who won a Premier League title, an FA Cup and the Champions League across seven years at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea could certainly do with adding more experience to the ranks. They ended the last campaign strongly, but the departure of Mauricio Pochettino means 2024/25 could be another season of transition. Kante’s know-how would help to smooth the process.
However, it is still difficult to envisage this deal actually happening. Kante is 33 years of age and Chelsea would surely prefer a younger ball-winner.

Newcastle May Be Keen To Add Midfield Experience
Newcastle are owned by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, which also controls four clubs in the Pro League - including Kante’s Al-Ittihad.
In theory at least, that would make it reasonably easy to reach an agreement with Newcastle who are priced at 5/2 with football betting sites to land Kante.
After missing out on Champions League qualification last term, Eddie Howe will be keen to beef up his squad before the new season gets under way, especially after losing Elliot Anderson, who joined Nottingham Forest earlier this week.
Again, though, Newcastle would surely favour a deal for a player who still has his best years ahead of him.
That is true both on and off the field. Kante may be unable to play with the intensity Howe demands over a nine-month season, while a younger alternative would offer potential resale value to aid compliance with the Premier League’s financial rules.
PSG Third-Favourites To Land France International
Kante has been linked with Paris Saint-Germain at various points throughout his career.
This summer could be the last possible chance for the France international to move to the Parc des Princes given his advancing years. PSG can be backed at 3/1.
However, Kante did not exactly open the door for a move to the Ligue 1 champions when the issue was brought up in an interview with Telefoot last month - although the famously polite midfielder may have just been being nice.
“If PSG calls me tomorrow? No, I don't think so,” Kante said. “At one point, in Paris, there were possibilities, discussions, but it didn't happen.
"They have a good midfield, a good team, and it's not necessarily something that I have in mind.”
Aston Villa And Arsenal Other Premier League Options
Aston Villa have just lost Douglas Luiz to Juventus, so they will be even more keen to strengthen their midfield ahead of Champions League football next term.
Kante has experience of that competition, which could appeal to Unai Emery. Again, though, age is likely to be an issue.
Villa are available in this market at 7/2, which is a fair bit shorter than Arsenal at 6/1 on new betting sites.
The Gunners are supposedly on the lookout for a holding player this summer, but they too will have their sights set on players in their early to mid-20s.
Barcelona Outsiders But Saudi Stay Still Possible
Barcelona are a long shot at 8/1. For all his qualities, Kante is not a traditional Barca midfielder, although the Catalan club have shifted away from the tiki-taka style in recent years.
Money could be a bigger issue, with Barcelona again needing to carefully balance the books this summer.
Many will believe an extended Saudi stay represents excellent value at 5/1, so that could be a safe option for your free bets.
Kante is under contract with Al-Ittihad until 2026 and the club will not want to lose one of their biggest names, especially if he continues to shine at Euro 2024.
It is not like money is an issue for Saudi sides either.
