US Open Predictions: Tips From The Men's Semi-Finals At Flushing Meadows

The men's US Open semi-finals take place on Friday night and the early hours of Saturday.

The Panel have tips from both matches which start with the clash between Britain's Jack Draper and world No 1 Jannik Sinner.

US Open Betting Tips: Sinner To Break British Hearts

Draper’s journey to the semi-finals of this year’s US Open has undoubtedly been one of the UK’s tennis stories of the year.

The Londoner became the first Brit to reach a US Open semi-final since Andy Murray in 2012 this week when he defeated 10th seed Alex de Minaur at the Arthur Ashe Stadium. Draper has been in relentless form so far, reaching the semis without dropping a single set.

Unfortunately for Draper, he next faces Sinner, the tournament favourite with the best betting sites. The Italian started the tournament with a bit of a blip, losing his first set to Mackenzie McDonald, but he has been in fine form since then.

He dispatched regular sparring partner and world No 5 Daniil Medvedev in the quarter-finals, and is the 1/6 favourite to advance to the final, with Draper available at a best-priced 19/4 with Unibet.

The Panel agree with the bookies and can’t see Draper making it through to the final.

However, Sinner has shown some chinks in his armour in New York, and we believe Draper is more than capable of taking at least one set from his opponent. As such, we are backing Jannik Sinner to win and both players to win at least a set 6/5 with Bet365.

The Panel's US Open Tennis Prediction 1: Jannik Sinner To Beat Jack Draper 3-1 or 3-2 - 6/5 With Bet365

US Open Tennis Tips: All-American Battle To Go Distance

The American crowd will be divided for the second semi-final of the day when Taylor Fritz and Frances Tiafoe compete for a place in the men’s US Open final.

Neither man has competed in a grand slam final before, though Frances Tiafoe went close in 2022, losing in the US Open semi-final in a five-set thriller with Carlos Alcaraz.

The two men have met seven times over the years, with Fritz, the favourite with betting apps, having won the last six against Tiafoe, whose sole victory came eight years ago.

Fritz is undeniably the more consistent player of the two and will feel confident after his quarter-final victory over fourth seed Alexander Zverev.

However, Tiafoe has certainly been the more entertaining player throughout the tournament, with all but one of his matches featuring at least four sets. His third-round victory over Ben Shelton was one of the best matches of the tournament.

The Panel can see this game going down to the wire and is backing it to go over 4.5 sets at 12/5 with Unibet

The Panel's US Open Tennis Prediction 2: Over 4.5 Sets - 12/5 With Unibet
