It’s day two of the US Open and The Panel have three tips from the final grand slam of the year at Flushing Meadows where Novak Djokovic is the defending champion.
British number three Dan Evans is having an awful season, but he looks overpriced at 10/3 with betting sites to beat Russian Karen Khachanov.
US Open Betting Tips: Evans Can Spring Surprise In New York
Evans has won just four of his 21 matches this year, but he has beaten fellow struggler Khachanov on all four occasions since 2020, three of which came on indoor hard surfaces.

US Open Tennis Tips: ZZZ To Be Toppled By Draper
Evans is not the only Brit in action on Tuesday as Draper kicks off his US Open campaign as the warm 1/3 favourite with BetVictor to win his first meeting with Zhizhen Zhang, affectionately known as ZZZ.
Draper’s effortless run to world number 25, which saw him win a maiden ATP Tour title on the grass courts of Stuttgart in June, came under scrutiny in Cincinnati earlier this month when his integrity was questioned.
Holding a match point in his round of 16 encounter with Felix Auger-Aliassime, Draper appeared to hit a return into the ground off the racquet frame, with the ball looping on to the net cord and dropping over the side to win the match.
A heated exchange with the Canadian followed in which Draper said he would be happy to replay the point if a video replay proved he had made an illegal shot, but with no such technology in existence, the umpire stuck with his original call.
Draper, who had battled back to beat world No 11 Stefanos Tsitsipas, in the second round, came in for heavy criticism and could not put the incident out of his mind, so it was probably unsurprising that he crashed out to Holger Rune in the quarter-finals in straight sets.
Hopefully, the memory of the criticism which followed is out of his mind as he prepares to face Zhang, who is only 16 places behind Draper following a decent run in Halle where he beat Daniil Medvedev a month after reaching the quarter-finals of the French Open.
Both players love hard court, but as long as Draper can exorcise the demons from a week last Saturday, a victory in four looks on the cards at 11/4 with betting apps.

US Open Tennis Odds: Shapovalov To Down Dutchman
Denis Shapovalov missed the last six months of 2023 with a knee injury he sustained at Wimbledon and although he returned to action in January, still finds himself outside the world’s top 100.
The left-handed Canadian was inside the top 30 at the time, so he has a lot of ground to make up, but he can start moving up the standings with a decent run at the US Open where he has never lost in the first round.
A quarter-finalist in 2020, Shapovalov lost a final-set tie-breaker in a third-round tie against Andrey Rublev in his last US Open appearance two years ago and he is the 1/3 favourite to advance at the expense of Botic van de Zandschulp.
The 28-year-old Dutchman reached the quarter-finals on his US Open debut in 2021, but he has been playing mainly on clay on the Challenger Tour since April and looks ill-prepared for the task in front of him.
The two players met at Indian Wells in March when Shapovalov prevailed 6-1 6-4 and another straight-sets victory looks a possibility at 9/5 with new betting sites.
The Panel's US Open Tennis Prediction 3: Denis Shapovalov To Beat Botic Van Dbotic van dee Zandschulp 3-0 - 9/5 With BetVictor
