We start our EPL best bets for Week 9 with our Liverpool vs. Everton prediction, where two of England’s fiercest rivals battle it out for a much-needed three points.

Everton has secured just one win over Liverpool in the past 23 years at Anfield, which came in front of no fans during the lockdown period in England. The Toffees have gone on to lose three times against Liverpool since then, conceding eight goals in that time and scoring just one.

Things have continued to get worse and worse for Everton, and it sits in 16th with only two wins on the board, 12 goals let in and five defeats already. In reality, another season of fighting relegation looks on the table for Everton.

As for Liverpool, it has no doubt got much better this season with 18 goals scored and five victories from its eight matches. With this in mind and combined with Everton’s dreadful form, we can’t see anything but an easy Liverpool win.

⭐ Brighton to beat Fulham and BTTS (+160) at Caesars 

Our EPL picks for Week 10 starts with another London derby, as Brentford is at Chelsea.

Neither one of Brentford or Chelsea will be pleased with the start to the latest Premier League season, and the Blues are sitting just two points above Brentford in 10th and with only three wins on the board. 

Nevertheless, they are the favorites to win here against a struggling Brentford team.

The Bees are down in 14th with two wins on the board and three losses too, while they have let in 12 goals so far as well. Brentford has also won just one game away from home this season and this should be a relatively comfortable win for Chelsea.

⭐ Man City to beat Man United 2-1, 3-1 or 4-1 (+330) at FanDuel

We keep our EPL predictions today going with the first Manchester derby of the season where the champions are aiming to return to the top of the Premier League.

City returned to winning ways this past week by beating Brighton in the Premier League before a win over Young Boys in the Champions League. It has also managed to win five of the past six Manchester derbies since the pandemic and has only got better as United has got worse.

Current form gives the Red Devils very little chance to win this game, and with Erling Haaland leading the line, City could end up smashing them across the field once again. Given how it is a derby, however, we think United could still get one goal.

⭐ Under 2.5 goals between Bournemouth and Burnley (+105) at DraftKings

It’s arguably the biggest game of the season for Bournemouth and Burnley with both sides sitting down in the relegation zone after nine games. 

Given how this is a tough one to call in the current circumstances, our EPL picks for gameweek 10 heads for a low-scoring affair instead.

Bournemouth are yet to win a game in the 2023/24 Premier League season and have scored only six goals from nine games. 

Burnley has got a win on the board when it defeated Luton Town a few weeks back, but it continues to struggle and is no doubt set for a season fighting for survival. It has also racked up just seven goals and has lost the most games in the league with seven on the board.

Under 2.5 goals leaves this bet open to 1-0 or 2-0 scorelines for either team or a 0-0 or 1-1 tie, and this seems likely based on the first nine games.

⭐ West Ham to beat Everton and BTTS (+270) at bet365

Our EPL picks ends with the West Ham United vs. Everton game, and we have singled out a win for the Hammers given the odds for it to do so. 

West Ham is +115 to win the game at home with bet365, despite being in much better form, and we think it will do so while letting in at least one goal. It lost during the week at Olympiacos, and it also suffered a defeat to Aston Villa last weekend.

Everton, however, has secured only two wins and sits with half of the points of West Ham's tally of 14. The Toffees have also scored nine goals and let in 14 and after two wins in the past four games, they are finally finding their feet in the 2023/24 season and will put up a fight here.
