Sportradar Acquires Cricket Data And Content Provider InteractSport
Swiss gambling data company Sportradar made its third acquisition of the year, announcing an agreement on Tuesday to acquire Australian-based InteractSport, a leading cricket data and content provider.
The deal is expected to be final in the second quarter of 2021.

“This acquisition provides Sportradar with the opportunity to widen its data and content offering. With cricket being one of the most popular sports in the world, we see this as a growth opportunity for the company, especially given the significance of the sport in the Asian region,” Sportradar CEO Carsten Koerl said in a news release.
InteractSport’s products include electronic scoring, web and mobile applications, along with an automated live streaming and in-game production and management solution called FrogBox.

In March, Sportradar entered into an agreement to acquire Synergy Sports, a data and video analytics firm that serves teams, leagues and federations. The deal is expected to close in the second quarter of this year, pending regulatory approvals, according to a news release at the time the deal was announced.
Los Angeles Dodgers co-owner Todd Boehly, whose SPAC is buying Sportradar, reportedly has a large stake in Synergy Sports.
On April 15, Sportradar announced a five-year sports betting partnership with TwinSpires, the online sports betting arm of Churchill Downs Inc.
Under the terms of the agreement, the company will provide TwinSpires access to its pre-match betting services, live betting services and content solutions.
