'The Masked Singer' Continues As ‘Vanderpump’ Star Booted
The "Masked Singer" characters enjoyed "NFL Night" on Wednesday, but one contestant got the boot.
Tom Sandoval was +100 favorite to be Diver on the show, and judge Ken Jeong continued his 100% record in Season 10 after he correctly guessed the “Vanderpump Rules” star was under the mask, following his prediction that Rubber Ducky was Anthony Anderson last week.
Cow Has The Moo-Ves
Cow remains the +200 favorite to win the series after impressing the panelists, Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, Nicole Scherzinger, and Jeong, with his rendition of "Treasure" by Bruno Mars.
But Boyz II Men's Shawn Stockman, who McCarthy-Wahlberg predicted last week, is now at +600 to be the character, from +200 favorite last week.
Former "Masked Singer UK" runner-up Ne-Yo, who Thicke guessed, has taken over favoritism in the "Masked Singer" futures betting at +200, and Chris Brown is +300 to be the character.
One of Cow's clues was three calves, appearing to represent the character's children, and Brown has three youngsters.
But Scherzinger thinks Jason Derulo (+400) is behind the mask, while McCarthy-Wahlberg predicted Nelly (+500) this week.
Gazelle Races Into 2nd Favorite
Gazelle has swiftly moved into the second favorite spot to win Season 10 of "The Masked Singer.”
The character is at +300, from +500, and has raced past +400 chance S'More following an elegant performance of Katy Perry's "The One That Got Away" on Wednesday night.
Hamilton star Ariana DeBose is the new +200 frontrunner to be under the mask, replacing last week's frontrunners Camila Mendes and Lucy Hale, who are at +300.
For Gazelle's final clue of the night, eight-time pro-bowler Antonio Gates brought out a football that had "Villain" written on it. But Gazelle said, "I’m not actually a villain, but I can play the part."
McCarthy-Wahlberg guessed Leighton Meester (+400) could be the character, while Jeong is going for a hat-trick with his prediction of Constance Wu (+500), and Scherzinger went for Auli’i Cravalho (+600).
Wild Card Pickle's 'Familiar' Voice
There was a surprise addition on this week's episode when wild card character Pickle appeared.
He sang "Pinball Wizard" by The Who, and McCarthy-Wahlberg found the voice “familiar,” before predicting Conan O’Brien.
He is in the middle of the market at +400, behind +200 favorite Steve O, and Dax Shepard (+300), who was Thicke's prediction.
Thicke also guessed Craig Kilborn (+500), while Michael Rapaport (+600) and Jeong's prediction Howard Stern (+600) are also in contention.
Elsewhere, Justin Guarini remains the +100 favorite to be S'More after the character's rendition of "Moves Like Jagger" by Maroon 5.
Thicke thinks Kevin Richardson (+200) is under the mask, while Scherzinger went for +300 chance JC Chasez, and Jeong predicted Simu Liu, who is propping up the market at +600.
Next week, the characters will roll back the years a couple of decades for "2000s Night.”
