Alexander Isak Next Club Odds: Arsenal Favourites To Buy Newcastle Forward
Newcastle United are enduring a difficult season and the best betting sites reckon it could get worse this summer.
Due to the need to comply with the Premier League’s profit and sustainability rules, Newcastle will not be able to spend quite as freely in the upcoming transfer market as they have in recent windows.
In fact, the Magpies may need to sell one of their most prized assets before they can improve their squad.

Among those who would raise a large chunk of cash is Alexander Isak, who is enjoying a fantastic season at St James’ Park.
The Sweden international has scored 15 Premier League goals in 2023/24, a tally bettered by only four players.
But where might he end up if this proves to be his last season with Newcastle? Let’s take a look at the market offered by betting apps.
North London is striker’s most likely destination
If Isak does leave Newcastle at the end of the campaign, football betting sites believe he will be heading south to London.
Arsenal are the 5/6 favourites in this market, with Tottenham Hotspur close behind at 2/1.
It is not hard to imagine Isak in an Arsenal shirt. He shares similarities with Gabriel Jesus, the type of striker that appears to appeal to Mikel Arteta.
Like the Brazilian, Isak can drop deep, has great feet, and is a creator as well as a converter of chances. Moreover, Arsenal have shown a willingness to spend money in recent windows.
Tottenham may also be looking to bolster their attacking unit ahead of next term. The jury remains out on Richarlison despite the Brazilian's purple patch earlier this season.
Son Heung-min is better operating from a wide-left role. Crucially, Tottenham - like their arch-rivals - could be able to offer Isak Champions League football.
Liverpool Or Manchester United Could Make Move
Liverpool are set for a summer of change as Jurgen Klopp prepares to step down as the club’s manager.
We do not yet know who will be the next man in the Anfield dugout, but Liverpool will have already begun drawing up their recruitment plans for the summer.
Another forward is unlikely to be a priority given Darwin Nunez has stepped up the plate - despite continued erratic finishing - this term.
Even so, some may like the look of 3/1 on the Reds landing Isak.
Manchester United could yet stick with Erik ten Hag, but they too are likely to be appointing a new head coach ahead of next term.
In the transfer department, Jim Ratcliffe’s new-look recruitment team is ready to flex its muscle.
Rasmus Hojlund has immense potential, but Isak would strengthen United’s attack. The Red Devils are 9/2 to land the Swede.
La Liga Return Or Move To PSG Could Happen
Isak made his name at Real Sociedad, for whom he made 132 appearances prior to joining his current employers.
It is by no means beyond the realms of possibility that he returns to La Liga at the end of the season.
Barcelona (7/1) would no doubt welcome the striker to the Camp Nou, but their persistent financial issues could be a problem - not least because Newcastle would seek to make a profit on the £63m they paid in 2022.
Real Madrid (8/1) appear to be fully focused on Kylian Mbappe for now, but they may still look for someone to play that central attacking role. Atletico Madrid (12/1) are dark horses at best.
Manchester City And Saudi Arabia Among The Outsiders
Newcastle are owned by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, which also controls four clubs in that country’s Pro League.
In theory at least, that would smooth the path were any players to move between the Magpies and one of Al-Ittihad, Al-Nassr, Al-Hilal, and Al-Ahli, as Allan Saint-Maximin did last summer.
However, it is hard to see Isak agreeing to join a Pro League side, which would represent an unwelcome step backwards at this stage of his career. A transfer there is adjudged to be a 20/1 possibility.
Manchester City are also outsiders, albeit at the shorter price of 10/1.
It is hard to see Isak slotting into their side given Erling Haaland has the No.9 spot nailed down, something that will not change despite the Norwegian’s recent dip in form.
