Conor Gallagher Next Club Odds: Spurs Could Offer Blues Exit
Although Conor Gallagher has become a key player for Chelsea, the England midfielder is still being linked with a possible move away from Stamford Bridge.
The Blues' need to sell players in order to avoid Profit and Sustainability sanctions and it's clear to see why the Stamford Bridge academy graduate is generating plenty of interest among Premier League clubs.
With only a year left on his contract there remains a chance he will remain at his boyhood club, but until he commits his long-term future to Stamford Bridge, there will be plenty of interest in his services.
As a result, the best betting sites are already suggesting possible destinations for the England midfielder.
Gallagher was a mainstay for the Blues under Mauricio Pochettino, but the Argentine's departure will only increase speculation about a move away from the club he joined as a boy.
In a difficult season, Gallagher has been one of Chelsea’s more dependable players, with seven goals and nine assists, and was given the captain's armband captain in the absence of Reece James and Ben Chilwell.
But if he does leave Stamford Bridge, where might he end up? Let’s take a look at some of the contenders to sign him according to football betting sites.
Tottenham Tipped To Get Gallagher
Spurs are one of several clubs linked with a move for Gallagher this summer and Chelsea’s financial pressures could make it happen, making them 15/8 favourites with UK bookmakers should he leave.
Ange Postecoglou aims to bolster his squad after narrowly missing out on the Champions League next season. The Australian is eager to complete his transfers early to ensure a full pre-season with the new additions.
He might consider Gallagher an ideal fit for his style, especially with the former Crystal Palace loanee having only a year left on his Chelsea contract come June.
Last summer, Postecoglou quickly set his plans in motion by signing Guglielmo Vicario from Empoli and James Maddison from Leicester during the summer.

Aston Villa And Newcastle In The Running
Tottenham could face serious competition for Gallagher, with reports suggesting that Aston Villa (5/1) are very interested in his services.
Though Profit and Sustainability Rules will restrict Villa's spending in the upcoming window, unless they sell, Unai Emery’s side are better-placed than Spurs having secured Champions League football for next season.
They could potentially include Jhon Duran in a part-exchange deal for Gallagher. Chelsea were linked with the young striker in January, though would probably prefer a cash deal to help balance the books.
Newcastle are next in the market at 12/1 with Bet365 as Eddie Howe currently spearheads the transfer efforts ahead of the summer window without the services of a Sporting Director following the departure of Dan Ashworth.
Gallagher is believed to be just one of many midfield options on Howe's list for the upcoming window and reports at the end of last season claiming that the Magpies had sent scouts to watch Gallagher will only fuel speculation.
Arsenal And West Ham Provide More London Interest
Arsenal narrowly missed out on the Premier League title last season, taking the fight with Manchester City to the final day and manager Mikel Arteta will be keen to strengthen his squad ahead of another assault on the title.
Gallagher is currently 16/1 to join the Gunners with betting apps and the prospect of the England man slotting into one of the most exciting midfield units in the country is certainly a mouthwatering one.
West Ham (16/1) had a £40m bid for Gallagher rejected last summer but the Hammers could well renew that interest in the coming weeks.
With new boss Julen Lopetegui keen to make an impact at the London Stadium and Jarrod Bowen linked with a move to Liverpool, Gallagher would certainly fill that void.
Manchester United And Crystal Palace Unlikely Alternatives
With speculation mounting regarding the future of Erik Ten Haag there are very few players not being linked with a move to Old Trafford this summer.
And with Sir Jim Ratcliffe apparently keen to boost the club's homegrown contingent, a move for Gallagher can't be entirely ruled out at odds of 20/1.
Gallagher enjoyed a fruitful loan period at Crystal Palace (25/1), scoring eight goals in his 34 games at the club during the 2021/22 campaign.
However, a move back to Selhurst Park appears unlikely with new boss Oliver Galsner looking to stamp his own authority on the club while also fighting to keep hold of his best players.
Brighton, who are currently looking for a new manager following the departure of Roberto De Zerbie, were reportedly interested in a move for Gallagher last summer.
But odds of 33/1 would suggest that the Seagulls are not keen to renew that interest this time around.
