Marc Guehi Next Club Odds: Newcastle Favourites To Land Palace Defender
The summer transfer window shuts at 11pm on Friday August 30 and clubs will be looking to strengthen their squad for the new campaign.
At the same time, they will be looking to keep their key players in the hope of achieving their goals.
Transfers have been slow this summer compared to other seasons, especially after Everton and Nottingham Forest were deducted points for breaching the league's profit and sustainability rules.
Clubs are being more cautious and their transfer activity may depend on who they can sell rather than who they would like to buy.
Crystal Palace fans will hope that on Saturday, August 31, Marc Guehi will still be an Eagle.

Guehi Still An Eagle, For Now
A summer of optimism for England ended in disappointment as they fell at the final hurdle for the second successive European Championship.
However, one of the standout performers was Marc Guehi who was the one to benefit from Harry Maguire's absence in Germany.
Guehi started all three group games and the round of 16, but after picking up two yellow cards, he was suspended for the quarter-final win over Switzerland.
His stock has risen considerably and Crystal Palace have a fight on their hands to keep their defender at Selhurst Park.
The best betting sites have opened a market on where he will end up.

Newcastle Favourites For Guehi
Newcastle experienced Champions League football last season for the first time in almost two decades.
But their adventure didn't last beyond the group stage, that included AC Milan, Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain.
They missed out on a place in Europe this season and they will be doing all they can to make sure they can be a part of the Champions League in the very near future.
Signing a defender of Guehi's quality will certainly help the Magpies challenge for the top four. Guehi is Evens with betting apps to sign for Newcastle.
Guehi Long-Term Replacement For Van Dijk?
Virgil van Dijk has been one of the best defenders in the Premier League over the past few seasons.
However, at 33, Liverpool and new manager Arne Slot will have to think long term about who will be part of his back four.
Guehi (9/2) would be a great addition to the Reds' squad as they look to challenge for the title again.
A season or two with Van Dijk wouldn't do Guehi any harm at all.
Guehi Signing Would Strengthen Gunners
A move to Arsenal would be ideal for Guehi, if he didn't want to leave London.
Arsenal have been the biggest challengers to Manchester City in each of the last two seasons, and a signing of Guehi's calibre would enhance their chances of finishing top of the Premier League.
The gap between the Gunners and the champions has closed each time and Mikel Arteta will hope it's third time lucky.
If he can persuade the board to release funds to sign Guehi, then the gap might be even closer.
Chelsea Could Re-sign Former Defender
There's nothing worse in football than letting a player go thinking they won't be good enough for them, only to find they become a top-class player.
That's the situation Chelsea find themselves in; they let Guehi go to Crystal Palace for £18m.
Since then, Guehi has blossomed and is now regarded as an integral part of England's defence, and places a question mark over Harry Maguire international future.
Guehi is 16/1 to return to his former club, who will have to pay a lot more than £18m for his services.
Guehi Would Shore Up Tottenham's Defence
After 10 games, Tottenham were setting the pace in the Premier League last season.
However, they were unable to maintain their form as leaking goals was a major reason why Ange Postecoglou's side faltered in the second half of the season.
Micky van de Ven had a great first season for Spurs and Guehi's presence alongside him would make Tottenham had to penetrate.
At 20/1, it doesn't seem that Guehi will join Spurs.
Guehi Would Slot In At United
If Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is to improve his side from last season's disastrous league campign, then he should do all he can to bring Guehi in.
Raphael Varane left the club in the summer, Lisandro Martinez is injured a lot, Jonny Evans is 36 and Victor Lindelof was made available for transfer.
That's the situation Ten Hag is in ahead of the new season. A partnerhip between Guehi and Martinez would be one United fans would welcome, with Harry Maguire as a back-up. Guehi is 22/1 to sign for the Red Devils.
Meanwhile across the city, champions City are always on the lookout for players that would stregthen their squad. Guehi would do that and City are 25/1 to land his signature.
