The Masked Singer Christmas Special Odds: French And Saunders' Star Connection
The Masked Singer Christmas Special will hit our screens on Boxing Day, when Star, Turkey Crown, Nutcracker and Christmas Cracker will battle it out in two head-to-heads to be crowned the festive champion.
There has plenty of speculation on UK betting sites about which celebrities might be behind the four characters' masks.
During the episode, which will be hosted by Joel Dommett, viewers will hear festive tunes including A Sleigh Ride Together With You, Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas, The Christmas Song (Merry Christmas To You), Driving Home For Christmas, This Christmas and Having A Wonderful Christmas Time.
Mo Gilligan, Jonathan Ross and Davina McCall will return to the judging panel and they will be joined by special guest panellists Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders.

Saunders' Shining Star?
Could the guest judges have a special connection to one or two of the characters?
Jennifer's husband, comedian and actor Adrian Edmondson is the 4/6 favourite to be Star.
Aside from being her hubby, he knows the pair well from guest starring on their show French and Saunders, but, more importantly, he lent his voice to the role of Limbs Jones in 1997 animated series Captain Star.

Star's official clue ahead of the Boxing Day episode is: "They didn’t come for a constellation prize." This could mean a famous runner-up might be under the mask.
Former pro boxer Tony Bellew finished second in the 2023 series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, and he is the 2/1 second favourite.
Owen Warner (5/1) was just pipped to top spot in 2022, while Jordan Banjo (3/1) was second in last year's South Africa special of the ITV show.
Singer Rebecca Ferguson finished second in the seventh series of The X Factor and she is 5/2 to be Star.
Lumley Is Crown Favourite
Turkey Crown's clue is "putting their breast leg forward", which suggests the character could be a famous model, but perhaps one who wasn't quite in tune.
In a clip ahead of the festive episode, Dawn says to Turkey Crown: "I love that so much, because it was so very nearly near the tune wasn't it?"

French and Saunders' good pal Joanna Lumley is the 10/11 favourite to be the character.
She knows them well and was previously a model during her younger years and she has also been outspoken about Netflix drama The Crown.

Others who could be in contention include models David Gandy (5/2) or Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (4/1).
Christmas Cracker looks set to have plenty of fun in The Masked Singer Christmas Special.
Their clue is "grab your coat, because you’ve pulled", which hints a former Love Island star could be under the mask.
Maura Higgins - who also took part in this year's I'm A Celebrity - is the 6/4 favourite to be Christmas Cracker, while Ekin-Su Culculoglu is a 5/1 chance.
The clue could relate to a dating show host.

TV presenter and former X Factor star Stacey Solomon knows her way around a microphone, and she once made a giant Christmas nutcracker out of materials she found around her house.

Former Strictly Come Dancing judge Darcey Bussell is one of the best-known UK ballerinas, and she is just 2/1 to be Nutcracker.
