According to the best online betting sites, the Bengals are slight favorites to come out on top. Cincinnati is a 2.5-point fave at BetMGM, while the Titans are -105 moneyline dogs with a total of 41.0 points at Caesars.
Bengals vs. Titans Betting Trends & NFL Week 4 Predictions
How to Watch Bengals vs. Titans
- Date: Sunday, October 1, 2023
- Kick Off: 1:00 PM ET
- Location: Nissan Stadium – Nashville, TN
- Where to Watch: FOX
The Bengals (1-2; 0-2-1 ATS) are coming off their first win of the season. After a disappointing 24-3 defeat at the Cleveland Browns in Week 1 and a 27-24 loss to the Baltimore Ravens in Week 2, the Bengals outlasted the Los Angeles Rams 19-16 as 3-point home favorites in Week 3.
Joe Burrow shook off his calf injury but completed just 26 of his 49 passing attempts last Monday, throwing for 259 yards and an interception, while Joe Mixon had 19 carries for 65 yards and a touchdown. Ja’Marr Chase posted 12 receptions for 141 yards, and Evan McPherson made four of his five field-goal attempts.
The Bengals need more from their offense. They score just 15.3 points per game (28th in the NFL) on 175.0 passing yards (26th) and 69.3 rushing yards (29th). Cincinnati has gone 1-5-1 ATS in its previous seven games overall, but the Bengals have beaten the number in six straight encounters with Tennessee.
Key Players Missing: TE Irv Smith (questionable, hamstring)
The Titans are 1-2 SU and 2-1 ATS in 2023. They’ve sandwiched a 27-24 home victory over the Los Angeles Chargers with a couple of road losses against the New Orleans Saints 16-15 and the Cleveland Browns 27-3.
Tennessee was trounced at Cleveland Browns Stadium last Sunday. The Titans gained a paltry 94 total yards and had just six 1st downs. Ryan Tannehill went 13-of-25 for 104 yards, while Derrick Henry logged 11 totes for 20 yards.
The Titans rank 30th in the NFL in passing yards (149.7 per game) and 23rd in rushing yards (90.3). They’ve only won one of their previous ten games overall, going 3-6-1 ATS in the process. The Titans are 1-4 against the number in their last five games at home, so one of my best NFL bets for Week 4 is going against them.
Key Players Missing: G Peter Skoronski (questionable, abdomen), DT Teair Tart (questionable, knee), DT Denico Autry (questionable, groin)
Cincinnati Bengals vs. Tennessee Titans Odds, NFL Picks & NFL Best Bets
The Bengals have owned the Titans as of late, going 5-1 SU and 6-0 ATS in their last six meetings. Also, Cincinnati is 4-1 SU and 5-0 ATS in its last five road contests against Tennessee. I would follow these betting trends and take the Bengals -2.5 (-110) at BetMGM as my NFL best bet for Sunday’s clash in Cleveland.
Betting Trends:
- Bengals: 6-0 ATS in the last six games vs. Titans
- Titans: 1-4 ATS in the last five games at home
- Over/Under: Four of Cincy’s last five tilts and six of Tennessee’s last seven have gone under
⭐ Bengals -2.5 (-110) at BetMGM
Not only that the betting trends suggest Cincinnati, but the Titans lack weapons to deal with the Bengals’ passing game. Tennessee ranks 28th in the NFL in passing yards allowed (275.3) and allows a 108.7 quarterback rating (also 28th). The Titans will try to exploit the Bengals’ run defense (151.7 YPG, 29th in the NFL), but Joe Burrow and his receiving corps will make a difference down the stretch. Hereof, my best Bengals vs. Titans prediction is Cincinnati -2.5 (-110) at BetMGM.
⭐ Under 41.0 Points (-110) at Caesars
The Titans will lean on their ground game and eat the clock. It’s the only way they can beat the Bengals, who need to bring their best defense to Nissan Stadium. We should see a low-scoring affair, so my second Bengals vs. Titans prediction is Under 41.0 Points (-110) at Caesars. The total has gone under in five of the Bengals’ last six games on the road and five of the Titans’ previous seven showings at home.
⭐ Ja’Marr Chase Anytime TD Scorer (+125) at FanDuel
Ja’Marr Chase is still scoreless in 2023, and I’m backing Joe Burrow’s favorite target to snap his skid in Week 4. The prize is quite tempting at +125 with FanDuel, and it’s one of my favorite NFL player props for the upcoming Sunday. The Titans have allowed six touchdowns so far this season. Five of those six scores have come through the air and four have been caught by a wide receiver. Per FanDuel scoring, the Titans are giving up the fourth-most fantasy points to the opposing wideouts.
