Cake Boss to Open Buddy’s Boardwalk Empire Inside Harrah’s This Summer

Buddy Valastro, also known as Cake Boss, is opening a new shop inside Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City, also one of the NJ online casinos available in the state.

Buddy’s Boardwalk Empire will open early in the summer of 2024. At this shop, patrons will experience items such as a Jersey-style sandwich, pizza, pasta, and desserts straight from his Carlo’s Bake Shop in Hoboken.

In a press release posted by Harrah’s parent company, Caesars, Valastro and Gregg Klein, the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Harrah’s Resort, made comments.

“We’re incredibly excited to welcome Buddy’s newest venture to Harrah’s,” said Klein. “His innovative approach to combining traditional Italian fare with the authentic Atlantic City spirit perfectly complements our commitment to producing exceptional experiences for our guests. This all-new, unique dining concept further strengthens Harrah’s position as the destination in AC for cutting-edge culinary offerings.”

“I’m so excited to launch a brand-new concept in my home state and bring the best bites from my restaurants in Vegas,” says Valastro. “Buddy’s Boardwalk Empire is another great step forward in my relationship with Caesars Entertainment and our development of fun dining concepts with Buddy Valastro’s Restaurant Group. I can’t wait to open and bring out the famiglia!”

Where can you find Cake Boss' store?

To find Buddy’s Boardwalk Empire, it won’t take you long. It’ll be found just off to the side of the main lobby in Harrah’s. This place in the casino resort was previously a jewelry store, but now, it’s the host to a spot where you can seemingly get anything you’d possibly want to eat, including his world-famous dessert options.

As mentioned, Harrah’s is under the Caesars Entertainment umbrella. They run three Atlantic City casinos: Harrah’s, Caesars Atlantic City, and Tropicana. Since 2020, Caesars Entertainment has invested well over $400 million in these three sites, including eateries and renovations.

In addition to Cake Boss’ shop, they’ve brought in Nobu as a restaurant and hotel and offer year-round entertainment with The Hook, produced by Spiegelworld. Caesars Entertainment is doing everything it can to gear up its retail-based casinos in Atlantic City as the summer of 2024 is quickly approaching.
