Delaware Reports Revenue Increase for July
After a robust bump in total net gaming revenue for online casinos in June, Delaware still saw another increase in July, just not as dramatic.
According to Delaware Lottery, net gaming revenue (GGR minus expenses and other allowances) for July was $5,193,734, up from $5,027,201 in June. In May, net gaming revenue was $3,896,433.
Delaware Park Leads the Charge
Delaware Lottery oversees three online casinos, three online poker sites and the state lottery.
In January, Delaware Lottery made the official transition over to Rush Street Interactive’s BetRivers platform for its first online sportsbook and the relaunch of its three online casinos (Bally’s Dover Casino, Harrington Raceway & Casino, and Delaware Park). That move brought with it a revamped array of new online casino games, and a wide range of deposit and withdrawal methods.
RSI was selected through a public RFP process, taking over from 888 Holdings.
Rumored DraftKings Acquisition of RSI
Delaware Park led the charge on the net gaming revenue front in July, at $2,851,216, followed by Harrington ($1,232,776) and Bally’s Dover ($1,018,743). Bally’s Dover has its own standalone app, while players can access Delaware Park and Harrington sites through RSI’s BetRivers platform.
June was also the end of fiscal year 2024. Total net gaming revenue for the year was $31,935,265.
Reporting by Earnings + More this morning has more speculation that DraftKings might take a run at acquiring RSI, so that’s something to keep an eye on, as it relates to Delaware.
