Evolution Fined for Security Breach at PA Live Dealer Studio

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) slapped Evolution Gaming with a fine just under $8,000 for allowing an unauthorized person to gain access to its live dealer studio in Philadelphia.

Evolution is one of the largest live dealer games provider at PA online casinos, and it’s highly unlikely that the fine will leave a lasting impact on its day-to-day operations.

$7,500 Fine Levied on Games Provider

The PGCB fined Evolution the amount of $7,500 after an unidentified male was able to enter various locations within the gaming provider’s studio suite. The man was also seen within a dressing area for employees.

During the same meeting, the PGCB also placed three players on the involuntary self-exclusion list for leaving minors unattended while gambling.

  • A male patron left a 13-year-old unattended in a car in the parking lot of Live! Casino and Hotel Philadelphia for 39 minutes.
  • Another male patron left two minors aged 12 and 13 unattended in a running vehicle in the parking lot of Live! Casino and Hotel Philadelphia for 31 minutes.
  • A female patron left four minors of ages 3, 6, 7 and 10 unattended in a running vehicle in the parking garage of Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino & Racetrack in Delaware County for 25 minutes.
