Michigan Player Won $52K on DraftKings Bingo Blackjack!
Popular Great Lakes State operator DraftKings shared news of a new win in its Michigan online casino app lobby via a post on media network X. DraftKings announced that a player from the Wolverine State won $52,000 on a $2,400 bet placed on its in-house title Bingo Blackjack.
The information was shared on Sunday, July 28th, but it was unclear if the win was acquired on the same day. DraftKings has a habit of publishing big wins in Michigan while protecting players' privacy. This year, several players from the Wolverine State landed massive jackpots, including a couple of seven-digit wins. Most big wins occur on popular slot games such as Cleopatra II, Ultra Blazing Fire Link, and 777 Surge.
However, different RNG and live dealer blackjack variations frequently appear on DraftKings reports about jackpot payouts. Some proprietary blackjack titles like DraftKings Multihand Blackjack and DraftKings Hockey Blackjack have been lucky for Michigan players. The $52K win on DraftKings Bingo Blackjack is the latest example of an RNG table game rewarding Wolverine State players.
Innovative Table Game Combo
DraftKings Bingo Blackjack pairs classic blackjack games with bingo elements. One big difference from a standard blackjack game is the element of chance intrinsic to Bingo, which allows players to land big payouts due to the bingo activator side bet automatically applied to each bet.
The bingo activator comes with a 20% fee on the original wager. The fee is not repaid if the player doubles or splits. During each hand, the bingo activator triggers two bingo balls, a win multiplier value, and a target hand value. The available bingo multipliers are 2x, 5x, 10x, 25x, 50x, and 100x. The hand value ball shows what hand value is needed to reach Bingo, ranging from 12 to 21. If 21 is the target value and the player hits blackjack, the multiplier value substitutes the standard 3 to 2 payout.
DraftKings Michigan Hits $1 Billion in Lifetime Revenue
DraftKings' June revenue of $32.5 million enabled the operator to enter Michigan's $1 billion club. After BetMGM and FanDuel, DraftKings is the third online casino in the Great Lakes State to achieve a $1 billion lifetime revenue milestone. However, DraftKings’ market share has been declining in recent months while still retaining its position as the third most visited operator in the Wolverine State.
DraftKings Casino's best month in 2024 was March, when it collected $40,4 million in bets. At the start of 2024, this brand held 20% of the Michigan iGaming market, while in June, that percentage dropped to 17.6%. However, DraftKings offers a diverse range of Michigan online casino promotions and one of the largest game lobbies in the state. Its market position will probably not be challenged seriously by other operators in the upcoming months.
