Three New iGaming Entities Launching in West Virginia
In February, the West Virginia Lottery Commission issues three more WV online casino licenses to PT Services, Jumio Services Corporation, and Radar Labs.
PT Services is part of Playtech. Playtech supplies live dealer games, and now, PT Services will look to enhance the state's offerings by offering live dealer games broadcast in premium HD quality and fast streaming services.
West Virginia’s online casino market earned $16.4 million in January 2024, its new all-time best month.
The other two, Jumio Services and Radar Labs, will be instrumental in the security aspect of online casinos as these are verification companies.
- Jumio Services uses AI, biometrics, and machine learning to assist with fraud and financial crimes.
- Radar Labs is a location services outlet that provides maps, geofencing, and geocoding. It also detects fraud by detecting location spoofings, such as proxies or VPNs, provides accurate geolocation locations, and more.
West Virginia appears to be improving security and live dealer games—two aspects of online casino play that can never be improved too much.
