NASCAR's biggest test of endurance is on Sunday with the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The 600-mile race is the longest on the schedule and regularly tests the durability of each team’s machinery.

Last year’s edition was won by Denny Hamlin and featured 13 overtime laps, extending the marathon race to make it one of the longest in history.

We’re breaking down what drivers have been successful here and who tops the betting board to give you the information you need for your NASCAR betting this weekend.

Coca-Cola 600

What NASCAR Drivers Perform Well in Charlotte?

Kyle Larson

When looking at drivers who have been the best at Charlotte recently, Kyle Larson tops the list. Since 2020, Larson has an average finish of 5.0 in two races. In 2021, he started on the pole and won. A year later, he started back in the field in 36th before recording a ninth-place finish.

Kevin Harvick

This year is Kevin Harvick’s final full-time season in the NASCAR Cup Series, but his success at Charlotte has remained even as he has aged. Harvick finished third here a year ago and had two 10ths and a fifth-place finish in the three previous races.

Of all active drivers in the field, Harvick is tied with Martin Truex Jr. with the second-most wins here with three. Only current part-time driver, Jimmie Johnson, has more wins at Charlotte with eight.

Tyler Reddick

Tyler Reddick has just four career races at Charlotte and has made it one of his top tracks since debuting in 2020. Reddick took eighth in his first race at Charlotte before following it up with a 14th, ninth and sixth.

Chase Elliott

In his last four races at Charlotte, Elliott has an average finish of 9.5, but a damaged vehicle in last year’s race resulting in a 33rd-place finish, distorts that average and how good he’s been here. Elliott was second in the 2021 Coca-Cola 600, won the Alsco 500 in 2020 and took another second in the Coca-Cola 600 during the same year.

In 11 races total, he has five top fives and would have a better overall average finish here if not for three accidents that relegated him to 33rd, 38th and 33rd-place finishes.

Denny Hamlin

Of drivers with at least five starts here, Hamlin has the best average finish of all of them at 11.9. His recent results have been impressive, including a runner-up finish, seventh and last year’s win here.

Who Are the Favorites to Win the Coca-Cola 600?

These sports betting odds for the favorites of the Coca-Cola 600 are from FanDuel Sportsbook

Kyle Larson +420

Larson is having the dominant season many thought he would have last year. He’s coming off a win at the all-start race held at North Wilkesboro and has wins at Richmond and Martinsville this year, in addition to two seconds at Kansas and Las Vegas.

William Byron +650

Byron leads the Cup Series this year with three wins. He went back-to-back in consecutive weeks at Las Vegas and Phoenix in March and also was victorious at Darlington.

Denny Hamlin +800

Hamlin led just 15 laps in last year’s win, putting on an exhibition that in a race this long, sometimes you have to hang around until the end to give yourself a chance.

Chase Elliott +800

It’s hard to see a reason why Elliott wouldn’t be near the top of the odds board for a race at Charlotte given his history here.

Going with the chalk here. Larson rides the momentum from the all-star victory and continues his strong showings here at Charlotte.

Best Coca-Cola 600 Prop Bets to Make

We've given you the top guys, now what are some prop bets to look at this weekend?

Chase Elliott Top 5 +120 DraftKings Sportsbook

Considering he has five top fives here in 11 races and would likely be more if it weren’t for the three times he was crashed out, this is one of my favorite props for the week. Before the 33rd-place finish last year, he finished fourth, second, first and second at Charlotte.

Winning Manufacturer: Toyota +175 FanDuel Sportsbook

Toyota has won three of the last five Coca-Cola 600s and five of the last eight. This goes against my Larson prediction, but if you wanted to have multiple guys in the mix, you get contenders such as Hamlin, Reddick and Truex Jr.
