Texas Vs. Oklahoma Pick: The Red River Rivalry

Texas, the top-ranked team in the nation, saw a quarterback change last week as Arch Manning took over for an injured Quinn Ewers before passing for 325 yards and two scores as Texas rolled 35-13 over Mississippi State.

Oklahoma have experienced their problems over the past two weeks. First, a tough loss to Tennessee showed offensive concerns. The Sooners only managed 222 yards of offense and lost utility DB Kendel Doby (ankle).

Now, who does Oklahoma start at quarterback? Can the Sooners fix their offensive line? Texas is not Auburn, and freshman Michael Hawkins Jr. is about to face the biggest test of his life.

The Panel pick is to take the Longhorns to cover and exorcise some demons.

Our Picks For College Football Week 7

Ohio State Vs. Oregon Prediction: A Big 10 Main Event

This game makes the Red River Rivalry look tame. Second-ranked Ohio State heads to Oregon to face the third-ranked Ducks. Does Will Howard face a stiff test versus the Ducks? The Buckeyes’ quarterback has helped easily lead Ohio State to a 5-0 start.

Oregon struggled during their first two weeks and were nearly upset by Boise State. Since then, the Ducks and Dillon Gabriel have significantly improved.

Gabriel leads the Big 10 with a 77% completion percentage. Ohio State’s top-ranked defense (6 pts per game allowed) will test that.

The Buckeyes have averaged 6.2 yards per carry, led by Quinshon Judkins and TreVeyon Henderson. The duo combined for nine rushing touchdowns, with Howard adding four more.

Most bettors will be running to Ohio State on betting apps. Look at Will Howard taking a plunge, too.

Ole Miss Vs. LSU Preview: No One Wants Loss Two

Ole Miss and LSU play in what amounts to a playoff-style game for both teams and nobody wants loss number two this early, given their second-half schedules.

LSU still has to play Texas A&M, Alabama and Oklahoma. Ole Miss has Oklahoma and Georgia up next, with a road trip to Arkansas sandwiched in.

Jaxson Dart and Lane Kiffin learned some lessons after losing to Kentucky as they pummeled South Carolina on the road. LSU and Brian Kelly have rolled off four straight wins, but none feel convincing.

Both teams have plenty on the line, but Ole Miss can slow down Garrett Nussbauer (15 touchdowns, four interceptions).

The Panel Pick 3: LSU Under 30.5 Points - BetMGM -115
