Atlanta Dream Vs. New York Liberty Prediction (O/U 155.5, Liberty -12.5)

Game 1 featured some of what one might expect. New York came out strong, but Atlanta could not quite keep the pace. Ultimately, New York won Game 1 by 14 points (83-69).

Game 2 from the Barclays Center expects New York’s depth and balance to reign supreme again. Breanna Stewart will also have her say.

She scored 20 points and added 11 rebounds in Game 1. There was a reason not to take too much from last week’s home loss to Atlanta. New York was resting its regulars, after all.

By the time Atlanta adjusted, the Dream was down by more than 20 points early in the fourth quarter. It was too little, too late. They managed a mere 69 points and the pace may slow a little more on Tuesday night.

The Panel Pick 1: Atlanta and New York Under 156.5 Points - Caesars -110

Our WNBA Picks For Tuesday, September 24

  • The Panel Pick 1: Atlanta and New York Under 156.5 Points - Caesars -110
  • The Panel Pick 2: Las Vegas Aces -8.5 Points - BetMGM -105
  • The Panel Pick 3: New York Liberty Under 84.5 Points - DraftKings -115

Seattle Storm Vs. Las Vegas Aces Prediction (O/U 160.5, Aces -8.5)

Game 1 of Seattle and Las Vegas was a higher-tempo contest until the final ten minutes. What happened in that fourth quarter was unreal. Seattle came out firing early as Las Vegas managed nine points in a very slow start.

Again, in that final ten minutes, both teams scored a combined 16 points, including Seattle's all-time low of two points. Vegas, behind that 14-2 run, turned a small deficit into a cover and an 11-point win.

A’ja Wilson led Vegas with 21 points but neither team shot well, and Seattle went 0-for-13 in the final stanza with six turnovers.

That intensity helps Las Vegas here and the spread is 8 to 8.5, so shop with WNBA betting sites in order to find value.

The Panel Pick 2: Las Vegas Aces -8.5 Points - BetMGM -105

New York Liberty: Less Is More

Chicago and New York could score a little less on Tuesday, and the Liberty would gladly take that trade-off to ensure they advance to the next round of the WNBA playoffs.

The two teams combined for 152 points in Game 1, and Game 2 will likely feature more of the same. Atlanta’s help defense does keep shooting percentages down for their opposition.

New York shot 43.4% in Game 1, but both teams combined for 31 turnovers. The Liberty committed 15 miscues, and Atlanta could force them into enough mistakes to keep the point total down.

With Atlanta battling for their playoff lives, New York will have difficulty scoring again, so The Panel pick is for New York to score 84 points or fewer on Tuesday with basketball betting sites.

The Panel Pick 3: New York Liberty Under 84.5 Points - DraftKings -115
