Six weeks into the college football season, it makes sense to continue our quest for the 2022 Heisman Trophy. Who are we watching this week? Who is trending up or down?

Every Monday, at Gambling.com, we will look at some prominent names while maybe finding a gem or two. Anyway, here we go again.

Bryce Young - Alabama Crimson Tide (+1500 on DraftKings)

Bryce Young did not play last week against Texas A&M, which lengthened his odds. He believes he can play on Saturday against Tennessee. How is his shoulder? That is the question.

C.J. Stroud - Ohio State Buckeyes (-130 on DraftKings)

C.J. Stroud bounced back like he said he would on Saturday against Michigan State. He tossed six touchdown passes, giving him 24 on the season. It was an easy win over the Spartans. This week expects to be more challenging as Stroud faces a defensively stout Iowa team.

Caleb Williams - USC Fighting Trojans (+1200 on DraftKings)

Caleb Williams slipped back some against Washington State. Sure, the USC quarterback threw two touchdowns, but Williams managed a mere 188 yards through the air. If the signal-caller comes up big in Utah, that will enhance his chances.

Max Duggan - TCU Horned Frogs (+5500 on DraftKings)

The quarterback survived in Kansas last week despite some solid pressure on him. Duggan combined for four touchdowns and just one turnover in TCU's 38-31 win. This Saturday, he goes against the Oklahoma State Cowboys.

Dorian Thompson-Robinson - UCLA Bruins (+1800 on DraftKings)

Yes, Dorian Thompson-Robinson keeps passing tests for UCLA. Last week, he threw 23 passes against Utah but completed 18 of them. That was good for 299 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception. Dorian-Thompson kept the Bruins undefeated with a 42-32 home win. UCLA goes to Oregon this Saturday.

Hendon Hooker - Tennessee Volunteers (+1100 on DraftKings)

Hendon Hooker has managed to get into the race and has a huge opportunity to cement his Heisman status this Saturday at home versus Alabama. Tennessee is about an early touchdown underdog, and Alabama looked vulnerable without Bryce Young. With Young’s status in doubt, Hooker could shift more than a few eyes toward him if the Volunteers should win on Saturday.

Blake Corum - Michigan Wolverines (+1800 on DraftKings)

Blake Corum needs a big game against Penn State. Again, it is about that moment. Corum has not had it yet and might now or against Ohio State come the end of November. The rusher has 11 touchdowns already on the season and 735 yards. Can he handle 25-30+ carries a game? We will find out.

Will Rogers - Mississippi State (+6000 on DraftKings)

Another hot game for Will Rogers has him entering the conversation about the Heisman Trophy. Rogers threw for 395 yards and three touchdowns last week. He is now over 2,000 yards on the season, and 40 touchdowns look likely. The schedule heats up as Mississippi State faces No. 13 Kentucky this week.
