College Football Picks: How to Bet Big 12 Showdown Between TCU and Kansas State
Highlighting this week's college football betting picks is the Big 12 showdown between TCU and Kansas State.
We'll hit that and some other big games on the schedule.
No. 17 Kansas State Wildcats at No. 8 TCU Horned Frogs
Saturday, 8 p.m., FS1
Line: TCU -3.5 | Total: 53 points
I am betting the Kansas State +4 at -110 that is offered at Caesars.
TCU is one of the nine remaining undefeated teams but needed a dramatic come-from-behind rally to erase a 14-point fourth-quarter deficit to beat Oklahoma State 43-40 in double overtime.
TCU's quarterback Max Duggan has completed 70% of his passes for 1,591 yards with a 16 to one touchdown to interception ratio. Duggan and the TCU offense will have their hands full against a Kansas State defense that has allowed TCU to score 17 or fewer points in five of the last six meetings including just 12 points in a 31-12 loss last season.
The betting markets opened with Kansas State priced as a four-point road underdog and has really remained unchanged throughout the week with a few 3.5 price tags appearing.
What I like most about this line is the fact that 60% of the tickets are bet on Kansas State and more than 78% of the money. That means that the large betters are clearly backing Kansas State.
