We’re down to the last four teams in the 2023 CONCACAF Gold Cup with USA, Panama, Jamaica and Mexico all bidding for a spot in the final this Wednesday.

Here are our soccer betting Gold Cup picks for the semi-finals.

USA (-180) vs Panama (+480)

What a stunning game it was between Canada and the USA on Sunday. There were two goals in the final few minutes of regular time before two more in extra time. The Yanks eventually won on penalties after having 21 shots in the match, and this also means they have scored 15 goals in four games at the Gold Cup.

Panama smashed Qatar 4-0 in its quarter-final battle, as Ismael Diaz scored a nine-minute hat-trick. It has now scored 10 goals so far, although the win against Qatar was its first shutout of the tournament.

In the eyes of many, the USA is the favorite to win the Gold Cup (+145), although Mexico is the moneyline favorite with the sportsbooks. We disagree, however, and after beating Canada in the Nations League final last month, we think the USA wins here and goes all the way, regardless of who it faces in the final.

Brandon Vazquez was the goalscorer for it against Canada, and this was his second goal of the tournament. Jesus Ferreira also has six goals at the Gold Cup after two hat-tricks in the group games, so expect one of those to score once more.

Mexico (-190) vs Jamaica (+490)

Mexico is aiming to get to yet another Gold Cup final, and it is a huge favorite to do so against Jamaica.

It managed to return to winning ways after a comfortable 2-0 win against Costa Rica in the quarter-finals, and it has now let in just two goals so far and scored nine - no team has a better defensive record at the tournament.

More impressively, Mexico has seen six different goalscorers in its four games so far and they look like a really well-drilled team.

At the same time, Jamaica only narrowly beat Guatemala in the last game and has had an easy run with group wins against Trinidad and Tobago and Saint Kitts and Nevis. However, it tied 1-1 with the USA on matchday one, and although we think Mexico wins here, it is likely to be a close game.
