Premier League Picks: Can United End Its Bad Luck at Stamford Bridge?
After some midweek Premier League games changed the positions in the table, England’s top flight soccer division returns this weekend with some massive games to look forward to.
Manchester United vs. Chelsea takes center stage, and Manchester City looks to bounce back from a loss to Liverpool last week. We’ve put together our Premier League betting advice for this weekend’s games. We'll start off with some prop bets, then go into our game analysis.

These are some other bets worth a look on this week’s schedule:
Game of the Week
Manchester United +250 at Chelsea +110
It’s one of the all-time Premier League classics as United and Chelsea meet at Stamford Bridge. United’s record at Stamford Bridge is atrocious, with only three wins there in the Premier League - no other team in the league boasts a better record against the 20-time champions.
Chelsea is coming into this one with a new manager. Graham Potter aims to keep up the unbeaten start to his managerial career with the Blues. They did recently draw with Brentford, but this came only a few days after easing past Aston Villa at Villa Park.
United schooled Tottenham Hotspur in midweek, and in truth, it was unfortunate not to get the win against Newcastle United last weekend after some controversial decisions went against it. At Stamford Bridge, however, things never seem to go United’s way, and we think it’ll be another Chelsea victory. In fact, Potter has already beaten United this season with Brighton & Hove Albion before moving to the London club.
Chelsea to win 2-1 is +800 with FanDuel.
Best Bet of the Week
Arsenal -180 at Southampton +490
As time goes on, the questions surrounding Arsenal’s title credentials begin to disappear. The Gunners are now sitting four points clear at the top of the Premier League table and they now have a chance to go seven clear of north London rivals, Spurs.
Arsenal got a narrow win against Leeds United last weekend, and it was only saved by Patrick Bamford missing a penalty kick. Leeds was creating chances throughout the game, but Arsenal still looked relatively comfortable. It now faces off against Southampton, which is just two points above the relegation zone in the Premier League with just three wins on the board so far.
Arsenal is -180 to win this weekend at Southampton, and given how it has lost just one game from all 13 matches this season, we can’t see how it loses here.
Arsenal to win 3-0 is +1200 with FanDuel.
Team of Last Week
Manchester United
After a 0-0 tie with Newcastle and a 2-0 win over Spurs, United is our pick for the best team of the past week.
Erik ten Hag led his side to a comfortable victory over third-placed Spurs, as Fred and Bruno Fernandes scored a goal each in the second half. Ten Hag saw his team create a stunning 28 attempts toward goal in the game, with an impressive 10 of those hitting the target.
It’s a result that puts United back into the top four debate, and if it can beat Chelsea this weekend, talks of a title charge may start to creep up on the Red Devils. Regardless, this win over Spurs will live long in the memory of United fans after demolishing it from start to finish.
Marcus Rashford to score first against Chelsea is +700 with DraftKings.
Player of Last Week
Mason Mount, Chelsea
Potter has completely changed Chelsea this season and the team is playing exceptional soccer right now. However, the one man leading the charge on the pitch is Mason Mount.
The Englishman scored a stunning free kick in the win over Villa to kick things off, before netting another goal shortly after. It now means Mount has put together three assists and two goals under Potter, and he is slowly becoming one of England’s main men ahead of the World Cup once more.
Mount has been excellent in every game so far under Potter, and he will be crucial once more in the vital game against United.
Mason Mount to score anytime against United is +260 with DraftKings..
Hardest Game to Call
Leicester +125 at Wolves +220
Two sides sitting in the relegation zone will meet in the Midlands this week as Leicester City and Wolverhampton Wanderers clash in a must-win game. A loss for Leicester will likely mean the end of the managerial reign of Brendan Rodgers, while Wolves can't afford to lose either, or it will be dragged deeper into the drop zone.
The game truly could go either way, as no side has been able to perform well at all so far this season. Wolves has won two games compared to Leicester's one, but it has also played an extra game. But despite sitting bottom of the table, the Foxes have scored an impressive 15 goals so far and come into this game off the back of a tie with Crystal Palace, a loss to Bournemouth and a win over Nottingham Forest.
Wolves, on the other hand, lost to Palace in midweek, but also defeated Nottingham last weekend. Regardless, with just five goals scored in the Premier League so far, this is the fewest goals Wolves has ever scored in its 133-year history at this stage in a season.
A tie in this game is +240 with DraftKings..
