Next Crystal Palace Manager Odds: Moyes Favourite To Replace Struggling Glasner
Crystal Palace have made a terrible start to the Premier League campaign and the pressure is mounting on manager Oliver Glasner.
The Eagles finished in the top half of the table last season, but are inside the relegation zone and without a win from their first eight games.
Michael Olise’s summer move to Bayern Munich was a major blow, but Glasner needs to start winning games otherwise he could soon find himself without a job.
Former West Ham manager David Moyes is the favourite with betting sites to replace the Austrian and there are plenty of other names in the frame to take over at Selhurst Park.
Here, Gambling.com takes a look at the main contenders and the latest next Crystal Palace manager odds.
Eagles Could Land David Moyes
David Moyes has been biding his time for the right opportunity since leaving West Ham at the end of last season and Crystal Palace could prove to be an ideal fit.
Moyes is an experienced Premier League manager and arguably his most successful spell came with the Hammers, who won the Europa Conference League last year.
They also reached the semi-finals and the last eight of the Europa League under his stewardship, and twice finished in the top seven of the Premier League.

The Scot had difficult spells at Manchester United, Real Sociedad and Sunderland, but his five-and-a-half-years in east London make him a catch for any club looking for a new manager.
Moyes is 6/4 with football betting sites to return to the capital as Palace manager.
Southgate In The Frame
Gareth Southgate said he planned to take a year off coaching after ending his successful eight-year reign as England boss in the summer, but could he be tempted by a return to Crystal Palace?
Southgate spent the first five years of his professional playing career with Palace in the 1990s before lengthy spells with Aston Villa and Middlesbrough.
The former defender took his first steps on the managerial ladder at Boro before joining the England U21s as head coach.
That decision turned out well for Southgate, who helped the Three Lions reach the European Championship final twice on top of semi-final and last-eight appearances at the last two World Cups.
Although Southgate has not stated whether he plans to cut short his break, Palace chairman Steve Parish would jump at the opportunity of bringing one of their own back to the club.
Southgate is 2/1 to rejoin Palace as manager.
Potter At The Wheel Again?
Graham Potter is keen to return to management, but still finds himself out of work despite being linked with every job under the sun.
Potter’s rise from being an assistant head coach at Leeds Metropolitan University in 2007 to his appointment as Chelsea manager 15 years later is a remarkable one.
The former York defender first made his name at Ostersund, a team he led from the fourth tier of Swedish football to the top flight over five seasons.
Ostersund won the Svenksa Cup for the first time in their history in 2017 and they went on to beat Galatasaray in the qualifying rounds of the Europa League in the following season.

His stunning success in Scandinavia, prompted Swansea to come calling, but after just one season he joined Premier League outfit Brighton.
Potter’s tactical awareness and attack-minded philosophy drew many admirers in the game, including Chelsea, who brought him to Stamford Bridge in 2022 as a replacement for Thomas Tuchel.
A bloated squad full of internationals proved too much for the ex-Stoke and West Brom defender and he was relieved of his duties after just seven months.
Potter’s reputation remains high, though, and he looks an interesting prospect at 9/4 for the Eagles job.
Conceicao And Corberan Dark Horses
Sergio Conceicao enjoyed great success in Italy and his native Portugal, so could he be the next man in charge at Selhurst Park?
Conceicao won Serie A as a winger with Lazio in the 1999/00 season, but his finest managerial achievements came at Porto where he won the Portuguese title three times both as a player and a manager.
However, he brought an end to a successful seven-year reign in June when he left the club just nine days after winning the Portuguese Cup for a fourth time in five seasons.
Regarded by some as a loose cannon, Conceicao is 7/2 in the next Crystal Palace manager odds.

West Brom manager Carlos Corberan is eyeing a second promotion to the Premier League unless Palace decide to make their move.
The Spaniard led Huddersfield to the top flight via the play-offs in 2017 only to leave the club in the summer that year, but he hopes to replicate that feat with the Baggies, who are fourth in the Championship table.
Corberan had a spell working under Marcelo Bielsa at Leeds, so he has clearly learned from the best over the years and is 4/1 with betting apps to finally manage in the Premier League.
Eagles Eye Italian Job?
Italian duo Daniele De Rossi and Maurizio Sarri are both at the opposites ends of their managerial careers, but they share one thing in common – they are both available for work.
Experienced coach Sarri has been a manager at Napoli, Chelsea, Juventus and latterly Lazio where he spent three seasons until his resignation in March.
Sarri won the Europa league with Chelsea in the 2018/19 season and Serie A with Juventus in the following year, and is 11/2 for the Crystal Palace job.
Although inexperienced as a manager, De Rossi is just 5/1 to replace Glasner.
De Rossi spent virtually his whole career at Roma where he remains a club legend despite an ill-fated spell as manager.
Following the dismissal of Jose Mourinho in January, Roma turned to their hero in their hour of need and things initially went well as he led the club to the semi-finals of the Europa League.
However, Roma failed to win any of their first four games of this season and he was dismissed in September.
Lampard And Gerrard In the Conversation
Former England internationals Steven Gerrard (12/1) and Frank Lampard (18/1) have also been mooted as potential replacements for Glasner.
Gerrard has been head coach at Rangers and Aston Villa, but is now in Saudi Arabia where he is the manager of El-Ettifaq.
Lampard, though, is available to join the club without the need for compensation.
The ex-Three Lions midfielder cut his managerial teeth at Derby before two spells as Chelsea coach either side of a stint at Everton, the club he saved from relegation.
Elsewhere, former Denmark coach Kasper Hjulmand is 6/1, Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers 8/1 and Leeds manager Daniel Farke 10/1.
