Which Premier League fanbases have the biggest potty mouths?
Analysing our data, we can reveal that Liverpool football club officially have the highest rate of foul-mouthed fans.
In fact, almost one in 10 football fans (9.8%) consider the Merseysiders to be the worst-spoken - which rises to one in seven 25-34-year-olds.
Interestingly, even respondents from the region voted the fanbase as one of the most foul-mouthed (12.7%), while only 1.6% of Liverpudlians consider local rivals Everton to have the worst language.
The North-West side also tops the list in Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow, Leeds, London, and Manchester.
Next up, Manchester United host the second-highest rate of swearing supporters, with 8% of football fans considering the Red Devils the biggest culprits.
Meanwhile, the top two are followed by London trio Chelsea (6.1%) - who are the biggest potty mouths according to 35-44-year-olds - West Ham United (5.9%), and Arsenal (5.1%) – though, you can probably forgive the language coming from Gunners supporters, considering the late-season implosion that saw their team miss out on a first league title in nearly 20 years.
Next up, Newcastle United take sixth, with 4.3% of the vote (although respondents aged 65+ consider the North East side to have the worst-spoken fans, 9.7%) ahead of treble winners Manchester City (3.9%), while Everton record a score of just 3.7%.
This comes despite the Toffees only just avoiding relegation last season – though, respondents in Edinburgh (13%) and Sheffield (17.6%) seem to think differently to the rest of football fans across the rest of the UK!

At the other end of the table, Premier League newcomers Sheffield United (0.8%) are the least sweary team in the league, joined by Nottingham Forest (0.9%), and Wolverhampton Wanderers (1%).
Meanwhile, other newbies Luton Town and Burnley also rank among the best-behaved.
Which UK cities are the most foul-mouthed?
When it comes to regional potty mouths, no other UK city has a higher rate of swearers than London.

Meanwhile, one in seven Brits gratuitously use the C-word; though, this increases when you visit Leeds (22.7%), Liverpool (23.8%), Newcastle (22.6%), and Sheffield (23.5%).
