Alejandro Garnacho Next Club Odds: Villa Lead Premier League Chase For Garnacho
Alejandro Garnacho is one of a handful of key players that Manchester United are prepared to sell and betting sites are considering which club could make a successful offer for the winger.
Although United are not actively looking to offload the likes of Garnacho, Kobbie Mainoo and Rasmus Hojlund, they will entertain serious bids for elite members of their squad to help comply with profit and sustainability rules.
As homegrown players, the sales of Garnacho and Mainoo would represent 100% profit which could be used for improving a squad that struggled last season despite winning the FA Cup.
Manager Ruben Amorim would like to sign players that fit his preferred 3-4-3 system which could also spell the end for Marcus Rashford, who has already admitted he is “ready for a new challenge”.

The same could apply to Argentina international Garnacho, who failed to celebrate with the fans after scoring a wonder goal against Leicester as a second-half substitute in November.
Captain Bruno Fernandes explained in a post-match interview that Garnacho felt some fans had lost faith in him.
Garnacho has scored eight goals in all competitions this season, but United’s record when he is on the pitch does not make great reading.
United have a goal differential of -9 when he is playing, the joint worst of any Red Devils player this season.
Garnacho has not started any of United’s last seven matches in all competitions and is reportedly unhappy with life under Amorim, so could it be time for him to leave Old Trafford?
We take a look at the clubs in the running to sign an exciting talent whose bicycle kick against Everton was voted the world’s best goal from the 2023/24 season.
Atletico Head List Of Suitors
Atletico’s stoppage-time victory at Barcelona before Christmas sent them to the top of La Liga and although they have since been overtaken by city rivals Real Madrid, they remain the nearest challengers.
Manager Diego Simeone played Conor Gallagher wide left in his favoured 4-4-2 formation during the win at Camp Nou, but the former Chelsea man is more effective in central midfield.

Garnacho would be perfect for that position, delivering crosses for Antoine Griezmann and Julian Alvarez, and giving Atleti’s title hopes a massive shot in the arm.
The Spanish club are 15/8 favourites with football betting sites to bring Garnacho back to Atleti where he started his career as a youth before moving to Old Trafford.
Villa Lead Premier League Chase
Aston Villa are struggling to replicate last season’s heroics which saw them secure a place in the Champions League thanks to a fourth-placed finish.
Villa are eighth in the table, just four points adrift of the final Champions League spot, so they remain in the running in the second half of the campaign.
Furthermore, they have just agreed a £20 million deal with Ipswich for the sale of left winger Jaden Philogene, so they have a position to fill and some cash to spend.
John McGinn played on the left in a 4-2-3-1 formation in the absence of injured midfielder Morgan Rogers during the 2-1 victory over Leicester, but both players suit playing in the centre.
Garnacho would be an excellent addition to Unai Emery’s squad and would provide a twin threat from the flanks with Leon Bailey on the right.
Linking up with fellow Argentinians Emiliano Martinez and Emi Buendia would also be a tempting proposition for the United star.
Villa are the most likely Premier League club to sign Garnacho in January or the summer at odds of 9/4 with betting apps.
Magpies Could Swoop
Newcastle have one of the best left wingers in the Premier League in Anthony Gordon, but could do with some reinforcement on the opposite flank.
Jacob Murphy is enjoying one of his best seasons in the black and white shirt in that position, with only Mo Salah and Bukayo Saka providing more than his seven assists during the current campaign.
The Magpies could still do with a bit of extra width to bolster their 4-3-3 system under Eddie Howe and Garnacho is more than adept at playing on either wing.
Most United fans regard Garnacho as a left-winger, forgetting that he scored twice in a sensational 3-2 comeback victory over Aston Villa on Boxing Day just over a year ago.
Although he prefers to play on the left, he is right-footed and can operate on either flank.
Newcastle would need to sell at least one of their star players to bring Garnacho to St James’ Park and are 4/1 to make it happen.
Bayern In The Mix
German giants Bayern Munich have some exceptional wingers on their books, but first-choice Serge Gnabry has had an injury-hit season and Kingsley Coman has been linked with a move to Arsenal.
That leaves Michael Olise and Leroy Sane to patrol the flanks, with teenager Mathys Tel stepping in when required, but Vincent Kompany would have a headache should one of them pick up an injury.
Bayern are four points clear of defending champions Bayer Leverkusen at the top of the Bundesliga, but cannot afford too many slip-ups if they are to win back the title.
Could Garnacho join a club usually guaranteed honours every year and going well in the Champions League?
The six-time European champions are 6/1 to add another Premier League player to their ranks, following in the footsteps of Harry Kane and Eric Dier.
Blues Have Sancho Option
Chelsea have had a whirlwind transfer policy since Todd Boehly’s consortium took control in May 2022, but the club now seem to have settled on bringing young players to Stamford Bridge.
They already have one Manchester United player at the club in the shape of Jadon Sancho who will spend the rest of the season on loan, although they have an obligation to buy in the summer.
With Noni Madueke operating on the right, Garnacho may struggle to break into Enzo Maresca’s first team, but their options are limited now that Mykhailo Mudryk is provisionally suspended after failing a drugs test.
Chelsea are 6/1 to bring Garnacho to Stamford Bridge and continue with their policy of signing young players.
Gunners May Need To Sell
Arsenal already have some great wingers in their squad like Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard, so unless they are going to offload one of them, Garnacho may seem an unlikely proposition at 7/1.
Elsewhere, Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid are 9/1 and 10/1 respectively to sign Garnacho, although the former have well-documented financial problems.
Juventus (12/1) and PSG (15/1) are outsiders, but would United sell to their arch rivals Liverpool and City if the price was right?
City are 20/1 to capture Garnacho and Premier League leaders Liverpool are 25/1.
