Wimbledon continues into the weekend and day six of the tournament throws up a great combination of big names and interesting matches in both the men’s and women’s draw.
Seven-time champion Novak Djokovic continues his journey after defeating Brit Jacob Fearnley in the second round against Alexei Popyrin, who he beat at the Australian Open earlier in the year.
Cam Norrie defeated British No.1 Jack Draper in straight sets on Thursday, but now faces the challenge of fourth seed Alexander Zverev in the third round.
In the women’s draw, Iga Swiatek has been flawless so far in her first two matches and will look to continue her impressive form to reach the second week.
Harriet Dart won the battle of the British players in the second round, overcoming Katie Boulter. She comes up against Xinyu Wang in her attempt to reach the fourth round.
The Panel looked at the form guide and odds on UK betting sites to make four betting predictions for Saturday’s slate of matches that can be made into a fourfold acca paying 18/1 with Betway.

Novak Djokovic Vs Alexei Popyrin Prediction
Djokovic dropped a set for the first time in the tournament as Fearnley put up a fight in their second-round contest. The Serb still eased his way over the line, but it shows that his aura has diminished slightly over the last year.
Popyrin will look to expose those potential flaws further and can take confidence from their clash at the Australian Open earlier this year, where he also claimed a set off Djokovic.
The seven-time champion is still a formidable opponent and tennis betting sites make him a best price of 1/8 to defeat Popyrin. Djokovic should be confident that he can reach the second week of Wimbledon, but Popyrin will play his part in an interesting spectacle.
The Panel are backing him to make Djokovic work for his win after noting his performance in the Australian Open. They’re backing over 35.5 total games at odds of 5/6.
The Panel Tip: Novak Djokovic Vs Alexei Popyrin Over 35.5 Games – 5/6 BoyleSports
Cameron Norrie Vs Alexander Zverev Prediction
Norrie lost his ranking as British No.1 to Draper earlier in the year but made a strong claim to retake his place at the top of men’s tennis in the UK.
The 28-year-old crushed his compatriot in straight sets with a complete performance, allowing him to advance to the third round for only the third time and first since his run to the semi-finals in 2022.
Zverev will put his mettle to the test and has won all five meetings between them. The German came out on top in a tense duel at the 2024 Australian Open, winning a final set tiebreaker.
Zverev has been in good form at Wimbledon and looks to be on the verge of a breakthrough at a grand slam after narrowly losing to Carlos Alcaraz in the French Open final.
Zverev has narrow odds of 1/6 to win outright on betting apps, but given the close contest at the Australian Open, The Panel believe Norrie could make it a close match. Norrie is 8/11 starting with a +2.5 set handicap and is fancied to take at least one set off Zverev on Centre Court.
The Panel Tip: Cameron Norrie +2.5 set handicap vs Alexander Zverev – 8/11 BetGoodwin
Iga Swiatek vs Yulia Putintseva Prediction
Swiatek has underperformed at Wimbledon compared to other grand slams. The World No.1 has only progressed as far as the quarter-finals at the All England Club in her previous four tournaments.
She seems more determined this time around, fresh off another triumph at the French Open. Swiatek has been clinical in her first two matches and has a good opportunity to reach the fourth round here.
The Pole has won all four of her previous meetings with Putintseva, including two this year, not dropping a set in the process. However, Putintseva has beaten two quality players, Angelique Kerber and Katerina Siniakova, so she cannot be completely overlooked by Swiatek.
The Panel have noted the previous meetings between the two players, and are tipping Swiatek to win by seven games or more on the handicap at odds of 7/5 on Betway.
The Panel Tip: Iga Swiatek –6.5 game handicap vs Yulia Putintseva – 7/5 Betway
Harriet Dart vs Xinyu Wang Prediction
Dart came back from the brink in her clash with Boulter. Her compatriot opened up a 6-2 lead in a tiebreaker in the deciding set, but Dart found her top form at the right moment to win the contest.
She now faces a tough opponent in Xinyu Wang, who defeated No.5 seed Jessica Pegula in a fascinating encounter in the second round. The two players have only met once previously, in 2022, when Dart came out on top in Melbourne.
Dart will have the home crowd behind as one of the few British players remaining in the draw, but Wang has a solid grand slam record and is the favourite with online bookmakers.
The Panel like the value of backing Dart to continue her Wimbledon journey into the second week of the competition at odds of 15/8 to win outright.
