Our team of experts dive into the NFL action, focusing on insights and odds from the best NFL betting sites as the Jacksonville Jaguars face the Buffalo Bills and the Washington Commanders clash with Cincinnati Bengals on a Monday Night Football double header.

Commanders Vs Bengals Prediction: Hard To Trust Cincinnati

Jayden Daniels has played well in his rookie campaign for Washington. Last week, the Commanders did everything but score a touchdown, kicking seven field goals in a 21-18 win.

Cincinnati has kept games close both times in 2024. The Bengals narrowly lost to Kansas City in Week 2 after opening with a 16-10 home loss to the New England Patriots.

They were the biggest favorite in Week 1 (-8.5). Favorites of 6+ points have been 1-11 ATS and 5-7 straight up.

Even with Washington’s suspect defense, Cincinnati’s offense can be hit or miss.

Washington does not turn the ball over but does not generate many turnovers. That is typically an excellent recipe to keep things close.

Jaguars Vs Bills Pick: Risking The Over On Monday Night

The Jacksonville Jaguars and Buffalo Bills had plenty of expectations heading into the 2024 NFL season and after two weeks, Buffalo is 2-0, while Jacksonville is 0-2.

The Jacksonville offense have combined for a mere 30 points in two games and Trevor Lawrence has not topped 200 net passing yards once so far in 2024 with only one passing touchdown.

One bright spot may be the Jacksonville running game, which averages 5.4 yards per play.  If the Jaguars can get that going, that may set up the passing game for Lawrence to have a better night.

Buffalo finds ways to manufacture points even if the yards are not there. Last week against Miami, there was an interception returned for a touchdown and several short-field conversions from the offense.

Jacksonville’s defense faced a higher-power offense against Miami and got a bit lucky, allowing 20 points despite yielding 400 yards on defense. Against Buffalo and Josh Allen, that might not work.
