Giants Vs. Commanders Pick: Several Quality Options

The New York Giants and Washington Commanders struggle defensively, with Washington allowing 37 points to Tampa Bay and New York conceding 28 to Minnesota.

Both teams rank at the bottom defensively; Washington gave up 518 points and the most yards overall. They lack a pass rush and have weak secondaries.

Jayden Daniels' running ability makes an anytime touchdown at +130 with DraftKings and is a good option, as is the Over at 43.5.

Will Washington cover? These games are typically close, but The Panel favors the Commanders to secure their first win.

The Panel Pick 1: Washington -2 Points | -108 With DraftKings

Raiders Vs. Ravens Prediction: Lamar Runs The Roost

Lamar Jackson ran wild on Kansas City last week but perhaps had a few too many carries. Overall, the Baltimore signal-caller ran 16 times for 122 yards.

The alternative line for 60+ yards is +120 this week and is definitely worth considering.

Meanwhile, the expectation is for slightly fewer carries in Week 2. However, despite Derrick Henry being on the field, Baltimore is spreading out their running game.

Jackson averaged 9.5 carries per game last year, and his career average is in double digits. The anytime rushing touchdown for Jackson stands at +200 with betting apps

So, with several choices at our disposal, we go with Lamar Jackson running at least nine more times on Sunday.

The Panel Pick 2: Lamar Jackson Over 8.5 Rushing Attempts | -145 With FanDuel

Bears Vs. Texans Preview: Big Texans D

Houston and DeMeco Ryans return home for their home opener against a Chicago Bears team led by quarterback Caleb Williams. Williams, the top overall draft pick, totaled 108 yards (93 passing, 15 rushing) in Week 1.

Williams should fare better in Week 2, but points will be at a premium. The Texans' defense ranked in the top 10 at home (12th overall) last season, and they will aim to overwhelm the rookie.

Chicago’s defense will struggle to generate many points this week, especially with the challenge of containing C.J. Stroud.

According to NFL betting apps the Bears will have a difficult time scoring on Sunday night, with reaching 20 points unlikely.

The Panel Pick 3: Chicago Bears Under 19.5 Points | -105 With Caesars
