Men’s Shot Put - (Ryan Crouser To Win Gold, -250)
The Olympic Track and Field continues in earnest on Friday. One of the more exciting events may be the Men’s Shot Put, which starts on Friday (2:05pm ET).
The man to beat is the 2016 and 2020 Olympic Gold champion Ryan Crouser.
Some experts would like people to keep an eye on another American, Joe Kovacs, while fewer people believe in Leonard Fabbri, a favorite for the silver medal.
The problem with Crouser is injuries. Even the American became concerned about getting through the US Olympic Trials.
Crouser unleashed a throw of 74ft 11", which was more than enough to win gold, and the margin of victory was more than a foot. It seems the elbow and pectoral issues were not much of an issue at all.
There are a few numbers to consider. Could Kovacs completely upset everything and deny Crouser the three-peat?
Kovacs is capable of throwing the shot put over 74 ft (22.91m). Would that be enough in Paris? At +350, he is worth at least a look.
The belief is that Crouser can edge Fabbri and Kovacs when it counts. This will not be easy as all three will battle it out for top spot on the podium.

Women’s Soccer Quarters - USA vs. Japan (O/U 2.5, USA, -140)
In the Women's Soccer, USA face Japan for a place in the semi-finals. If anyone saw what the Americans did in the group stage, they had to at least take some notice. The action gets underway just after 9:00am ET.
The Americans have been one of the best teams in terms of transition early in the tournament. Teams cannot focus on Alex Morgan and some of the old stalwarts anymore. A new generation has taken the mantle, and the intrigue level has been raised.
Can Japan play as comfortably in transition as they did in April, when Team USA won 2-1? One of the big differences between most countries and Japan is the Japanese ability to execute on breaks.
Their goal against the Americans in April came off that kind of transitional attack. The difference is the US bounced back and scored 2+ goals again on betting apps.
Consider that Team USA is 31-1 against Japan. Emma Hayes has changed the way the Americans play on the pitch, and that has energized this team, who are expected to make it 32-1.
Our pick is to take a bit of extra risk and go for the Americans to win and score two or more goals on Saturday.
Japan may play five-back at times, but the US should be up to the challenge here.

Men’s Indoor Volleyball - USA vs. Japan (O/U 3.5, ML -210, USA)
The American Men’s Volleyball team has gone 2-0 and will face Japan on Friday (3:00 pm ET). One of the big keys in the Americans' success has been their ability to play from ahead.
More importantly, Team USA has won six sets while losing only two and their chances of losing a set on Friday are pretty high.
The Americans played great in the first two sets against a very good German squad, who responded well to win the next two sets in style.
A chance to win Group C is up for grabs. Overcoming adversity against a German team that can serve and volley with fury was big.
If you have a free bet to use, Team USA avoiding this going the distance is our pick for Friday afternoon.
The Panel Pick 3: Team USA -1.5 Sets - BetMGM - Evens
