Women’s Surfing - (Caroline Marks, USA, -110)

Caroline Marks is Team USA's gold medal hope in the Women's surfing, which despite being part of Paris 2024, is being held in Tahiti.

The 22-year-old is the World Surf League champion and began in the WSL six years ago, when she was named Rookie of the Year award aged just 16.

Marks has the advantage of winning last year’s WSL event in Tahiti, and while it won't be easy, Marks will likely finish in the top three to secure a medal. But can she stand on the top step of the podium?

The disappointment of missing out on the bronze medal in Tokyo three years ago hurt Marks. That should motivate her to win this year, and her ability to turn in strong wave after wave is key.

Marks can land some amazing moves and has defeated all three remaining semi-finalists in the past year, so she knows she can beat defeat either Brisa Hennessy or Tatiana Weston-Webb. Her time is now.

USA Women’s Soccer - USA vs. Germany - (Team USA, -105)

Team USA face Germany for a place in the final of the Women's football in Paris, before Spain and Brazil meet in the second semi-final.

The Americans may have expected to be facing Canada in the last-four, but Germany didn't read the script and booked their place in the semi-finals by winning on penalties.

Team USA beat Germany 4-1 in the group stage, and manager Emma Hayes has this team believing in what they can achieve.

The bottom line is that the Americans, led by Mallory Swanson, can generate so much more offense against a team like Germany. Playing a little more freewheeling could be helpful here.

Our pick is for the Americans to win in regulation. Germany will know what to expect after that heavy defeat in the group stage and may have a new approach for this contest, especially with a place in the final up for grabs.

Women’s 3-On-3 Basketball - USA vs. Spain (USA -2.5, ML -200, USA)

The American Women’s basketball team is on a roll after an inauspicious opening, winning five straight games and by increasing margins.

Team USA continue to find ways to win. At this point, betting on them to win the gold medal at +200 is certainly worth considering.

Starting out 0-3 seems like a memory now. Cierra Burdick leads the way with a big offensive effort, helping lead the United States to two wins over China (14-12 and 21-13). Dearica Hamby scored nine points and five rebounds during the second game against China.

A chance to advance to the final is at stake. Overcoming adversity has been a staple for the American women in Paris.

A final showdown with Canada is what most followers want to see, but first they must take care of business against Spain.

The Americans are our pick to defeat Spain first and then likely get past Canada, which is still well on the plus side. Ride the wave!
