After some midweek games, Major League Soccer returns for another full set of matches for week 20.

Here’s our MLS picks for the weekend.

Montreal (+280) at Charlotte (-125)

Montreal's excellent midweek win against Nashville was its best victory of the season. Montreal has scored five goals in two games and recorded two shutouts, as well.

Charlotte is the favorite to win this one, however, but with the most goals conceded (35) and off the back of four games without a win, we hand the edge to Montreal.

Montreal to win 2-1, 3-1 or 4-1 is +800 with FanDuel Sportsbook.

Atlanta United (+270) at New York Red Bulls (-110)

The New York Red Bulls failed to win once again in midweek after a 2-2 tie with Charlotte. The Red Bulls have just one win in the past five games and just one shutout during that timeframe.

The Red Bulls have looked significantly better as the weeks have gone on, but after Atlanta United extended its unbeaten run to seven games and with 37 goals from just 19 games, we think Atlanta will upset the odds here.

Atlanta to win and both teams to score is +581 with Unibet.

Nashville (+260) at Columbus Crew (-110)

The Columbus Crew and Nashville met just three weeks ago in Tennessee, where Nashville won, 3-1, after putting 10 shots on target. Hany Mukhtar scored again that day, and Nashville has since moved up into second place in the standings.

Off the back of that result, this one is a tough one to call. However, with 36 goals scored already for the Crew and with the league’s top scorer in action, Mukhtar, we see plenty of goals in this one.

Over 2.5 goals, Hany Mukhtar to score anytime and both teams to score is +260 with DraftKings Sportsbook.

Cincinnati (+220) at D.C. United (+105)

After losing two in a row and up against the team in first place, we see D.C. United losing against Cincinnati. Worse yet for Wayne Rooney's team, it lost at home to Real Salt Lake in its recent defeat.

Cincinnati has still lost only once this season and is the top of the standing by eight points with a game extra to play, as well.

It should be another win for the team from Ohio.

Cincinnati to win 1-0, 2-0 or 3-0 is +600 with FanDuel.

Toronto (+340) at New England Revolution (-145)

There are 14 points separating the New England Revolution in third and Toronto in 14th in the Eastern Conference. Toronto has also won just three of its 19 games this season, while New England has won nine.

This is an easy pick for New England.

New England to win 3-0 is +1200 with BetMGM Sportsbook.

Inter Miami (+500) at Philadelphia Union (-250)

Inter Miami is still in last place in the Eastern Conference and has lost both its MLS games since firing head coach Phil Neville.

During this terrible run for Miami, the Philadelphia Union have won seven of its last 11 games. At Subaru Park, where the Union have lost just two MLS games in the past two years, they should comfortably win once more.

Philadelphia to win 3-0 is +1100 with Caesars Sportsbook.

Houston Dynamo (+240) at Austin (-105)

For the third time this year, the Houston Dynamo and Austin are set to clash in a Texas derby. Houston has won both of those games by scoring a combined four goals and conceding just one.

What's more, after defeating Los Angeles twice this month and beating the San Jose Earthquakes in midweek, Houston has now scored nine goals in three games and let in only one.

At the same time, Austin has just two wins in the last six games.

Under 3.5 goals and Houston to win is +374 with FanDuel.

Chicago Fire (+350) at Sporting Kansas City (-150)

Although it has failed to win its past two games, Sporting Kansas City has lost only one of its six games after a terrible start to 2023.

It is now one point above Chicago in the overall standings. Chicago has also failed to recrod a shutout in the past four games.

With just nine wins from a combined 38 games in MLS between these two, we think it could be a tie.

A 1-1 tie is +650 with Caesars.

LA Galaxy (+200) at Colorado Rapids (+110)

The two worst teams in MLS meet in this one with the LA Galaxy at Colorado Rapids. Colorado is currently in last place with just two wins in 2023, while LA has one more point and one more win.

Ultimately, given how awful both teams have been this year, it could go either way. However, with just 30 goals scored from 35 games, we expect it to be low-scoring.

Under 2.5 goals is +100 with BetMGM.

Minnesota United (+210) at Real Salt Lake (+110)

After a 4-0 loss at Montreal last weekend, Minnesota United has now failed to win any of its past five games and has moved down into 12th in the Western Conference.

At the same time, Real Salt Lake has hit its best stretch so far this year with an unbeaten five-game run, winning at D.C. United, Austin and St. Louis, while also beating the LA Galaxy and registering a tie with New York City.

Such form makes this one an easy pick for RSL.

Salt Lake to win 2-1 is +800 with Unibet.

Vancouver Whitecaps (+430) at Los Angeles (-195)

The defending MLS Cup champions, Los Angeles, are back to the top of the Western Conference after beating Kansas City and the Seattle Sounders in the past week.

Vancouver did manage to beat Montreal in the Canadian Championship final, but the Whitecaps have won just two of their past MLS games and claimed only five victories this season.

Back in LA, LAFC is another easy pick, as Denis Bouanga goes for his 11th goal of the year in just 16 games.

Denis Bouanga to win and LAFC to win is +141 with DraftKings.

New York City (+270) at Portland Timbers (-110)

Just one point separates New York City and the Portland Timbers in MLS right now, and with three ties each in the past six games involving these two, we think another tie is in order.

A tie is +230 with BetMGM.

Orlando City (+270) at Seattle Sounders (-110)

Orlando City has been in excellent goal-scoring form recently by netting a goal in all of its past eight games with a combined record of 15 goals scored.

During this period, Seattle has won only two of its past 10 games and is struggling to score more than one goal in a game these days.

With this in mind, we expect a low-scoring match.

Under 2.5 goals is -110 with Unibet.

St. Louis City (+220) at San Jose Earthquakes (+105)

St. Louis has lost two games in a row by a 3-1 score and secured just one win in five games. It has, however, scored 35 goals this season, so it should get a goal against San Jose.

The Quakes were also beaten by Houston 4-1 in midweek, although they have defeated Seattle and Philadelphia this month.

It’s a tough one to call, but we predict some goals and a close game.

San Jose to win or tie and over 2.5 goals is +136 with FanDuel.
